TOPIC: THE GLORY OF GOD: Is The Back Of God (2)

One Year Bible Reading:
Jeremiah 23 - 25
2 Timothy 3: 1 - 17

MEMORY VERSE:
Exodus 33:18
"18. And he said, I beseech thee, shew me thy glory.

BIBLE READING: 
Exodus 33:21 - 23.
"21. And the LORD said, Behold, there is a place by me, and thou shalt stand upon a rock: 22. And it shall come to pass, while my glory passeth by, that I will put thee in a clift of the rock, and will cover thee with my hand while I pass by: 23. And I will take away mine hand, and thou shalt see my back parts: but my face shall not be seen."

Thinking Point:
God is an embodiment of Glory from all sides.

This week, new results, new breakthroughs, new progress in all we do in Jesus' Mighty name, Amen.

The Glory of God has been our focus for the week. Yesterday we made it known that the Face of God is the highest level of God's Glory. We move to the second level of the Glory of God which is the "Back of God" , yes, you heard me right, The "Back Of God" ". God said to Moses, the Level of Glory you can access from me is to show you my back when I pass by. God said I will cover your face with my hand till I cross over then you can access the glory behind me. God is filled with Glory. He is Glory personified. An embodiment of Glory. He is a moving Glory, wherever He is Glory is present. God is Glory. Jesus Is the image of Glory. 

Moses never asked for the Back of God but for the Glory of God. God said, firstly, my face you cannot see which implies my glory which is my face, I can't allow you to see. But I will show you my back, which is also equivalent to what you asked for. Then Moses was well protected by God, He shielded him from being consumed by His moving Glory and allowed Him to see His back. When Moses saw the Back of God, he saw Genesis, starting from the creation of Heaven and Earth, the creation of Adam and Eva, Noah, Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, even to Joseph all because He saw the back of God. The face of God is the future while His back is the past.  

We shall see the Glory of God. Every revelation of God ends in Glory when one abides by the instructions. The glory of God, remember, it's in levels, that is why 2nd Corinthians 3:18, says,
"18. But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, Are Changed Into The Same Image From Glory To Glory, Even As By The Spirit Of The Lord."

As believers of Christ, we are called to move from one level of glory to another, not to remain stagnant at one glory level. We are moving from glory to glory in Jesus' name, Amen. So therefore, the second level of the Glory of God is the back of God that Moses saw and he needed to use a veil before speaking to the children of Israelafter the encounter. We shall encounter His glory this week in Jesus' mighty name, Amen.
