TOPIC: FATHER, LIFT ME UP THIS MONTH: By Your Leading (5)

One Year Bible Reading:
Isaiah 48 - 49
Colossians 2:6 - 23

MEMORY VERSE:
Gen 8:5. 
“5. And the waters decreased continually until the tenth month: in the tenth [month], on the first [day] of the month, were the tops of the mountains seen.”

BIBLE READING: 
Psa 32:8 
"8. I will instruct thee and teach thee in the way which thou shalt go: I will guide thee with mine eye."

Thinking Point:
Whatever Miracle God will do it starts from giving instruction.

Nothing is as sweet as when God is leading in all affairs of life. When God goes ahead of us, no misleading, error nor waste of time and resources, I see God leading us through in all our endeavours this week and beyond in Jesus Mighty Name, Amen. To be lifted above equals is a product of following God's leading. To be singled out is an advantage of having God as the pathfinder (showing us the way). As long as God is our compass our lifting is sure. David said,

“1. The Lord is my shepherd; I have all that I need. 2. He lets me rest in green meadows; he leads me beside peaceful streams. 3. He renews my strength. He guides me along right paths, bringing honor to his name. 4. Even when I walk through the darkest valley, I will not be afraid, for you are close beside me. Your rod and your staff protect and comfort me. 5. You prepare a feast for me in the presence of my enemies. You honor me by anointing my head with oil. My cup overflows with blessings. 6. Surely your goodness and unfailing love will pursue me all the days of my life, and I will live in the house of the lord forever.” Ps. 23:1-6 (NLT)

The secret of David's success was following God’s instructions. Have you noticed that when he makes decisions without consulting God he lands into sin? This week, the Lord will lead us into lifting, to that better place we are destined for, where Rest and Peace will govern our lives, where Quietness will be for our souls. 

God leads via instructions. Our ears, mind and eyes will be open to those instructions in Jesus Mighty Name, Amen. Ask God saying, Father, give me the instructions to follow for my lifting this month, in Jesus Mighty name we pray Amen.
