TOPIC: DAVID'S HEART: Locate Someone To Help (3)

"20. I have found David my servant; with my holy oil have I anointed him:"

BIBLE READING: 
2 Samuel 9:3.
"3. And the king said, Is there not yet any of the house of Saul, that I may shew the kindness of God unto him? And Ziba said unto the king, Jonathan hath yet a son, which is lame on his feet."

Thinking Point:
Someone is waiting to be located by you for help.

Today, God will locate you for help, promotion and blessings in Jesus' mighty name, Amen.
David's search paid off, Ziba was located. He was the chief servant of the late King Saul. The king put out the question again, "Is there not yet any of the house of Saul, that I may shew the kindness of God unto him? And Ziba answered, yes sir. I know a son of Jonathan who is crippled, meaning he is helpless, neglected and abandoned. That was who David was looking for. Why was he the son of Jonathan? Why will David ask for any member of the house of Saul to show favour on behalf of Jonathan? That will be a question to handle tomorrow. David saw who he was looking for, Mephibosheth, a crippled man who needed help and fortunately for him, he was Jonathan’s son.

Beloved, there are many Mephibosheth waiting for a David like you. Many crippled boys and girls expecting a helping hand from you, hope you are attending to them? There are those who need to benefit from your new position because of their past commitment, are you looking out for them? Get this, any position we find ourselves in is to help the unprivileged and not to frustrate them more. Hear me, every help rendered today is a help to be reaped tomorrow one way or the other. 

As devotees of "Mobile Daily Devotional", can we all make it a point of duty to locate someone and grant them a helping hand today? One child, one woman, that man, father, mother, even your spouse or parent, send help to someone who really needs it and watch the joy that flows back to you. Every help is a seed buried in the ground to reproduce fruit. David was only searching for who to help because he was helped. Help someone if you can't locate who helped you in the past. Let the rain of help flow to someone else.
