Hebrew 10: 19 - 39

MEMORY VERSE:
Mark 12:31.
"31. And the second is like, namely this, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. There is none commandment greater than these."

BIBLE READING:
1 Samuel 30:6.
"6. And David was greatly distressed; for the people spake of stoning him, because the soul of all the people was grieved, every man for his sons and for his daughters: BUT DAVID ENCOURAGED HIMSELF IN THE LORD HIS GOD.

Thinking Point:
The greatest motivator you have is you, nobody can motivate you more than yourself.

By the power in the name of Jesus, God is awakening a great motivating spirit in you in Jesus name, Amen.

Believers are permitted to faint, fall and feel weary. Situations will arise that warrant discouragement, things we aren't prepared for, unexpected circumstances that make friends, families and households turn against you. Sometimes those you look up to and depend on become the most dangerous enemies, in such a time, we need to encourage ourselves. When help becomes very scary, when we pray and it seems our prayers can't go beyond the roof, that is when we need to encourage ourselves and find solace in God. When those who encourages you become discouragers. When advisers become mockers, we need to find the strength in God to encourage ourselves.

Judges 11:1-3.
Jephthah was the first son of Gilead, a child out of wedlock. He was a mighty man and a warrior, but lived in his father's house until the day his younger ones sent him packing. All Jephthah could do was to encourage himself in the situation. He looked within and focused on what he knows how to do best. The scripture said "he found worthless men around himself" and went on to become great that the elders in Gilead needed to search for him in days of trouble.

It's time to encourage yourself in that situation. Stop looking for who to believe in you. Believe in yourself and move on. Get up and motivate yourself. No more explanation, it's time to act rightly and let go of what people say or do. The scripture said of David "...and David encouraged himself in the Lord" it's your turn to encourage yourself in the Lord, get up and start all over then you will realise what you are capable of.

David's men picked up stones to stone him as the leader who led them to war and they couldn't defend their families. They became the real enemies David could see, but despite all this, David encouraged himself in the Lord.
The prodigal son had no other options than to motivate himself to go home. He became the opposite of who he was. He began to long for the feeds of pigs, the scripture said, "He came to his senses" meaning, he motivated himself, "will I die here in hunger while I have a father who has all I can ever need?" Then he arose and began to go home. It's time to come back to your senses and return home where you belong. Motivate yourself to take that course, motivate yourself to try again, push harder and start again. Nobody can motivate you like yourself. Motivate yourself in that marriage. You are your first cheerleader, cheer yourself up and move against that enemy of progress till you defeat it. Treat yourself better by motivating yourself this month then, positive results will be your portion.

God Bless you and Good Morning.
