Make me like one of your hired servants"
Thinking Point:
Forgiving yourself is more powerful than others forgiving you.
We give all glory to God who brought us through this week again, to Him alone belong our praises forever more.
Our last subtopic for this week is Forgiving Yourself. After mistakes or errors are committed we dwell on our wrong for too long. Be soft on yourself when you make mistakes or commit blunders, that's why we are human. No one is perfect, we all work towards perfection. Inability to forgive ourselves leads to inferiority, it makes us think less of ourselves. Your past mistakes, if not forgiven, will stop you from moving forward, learn to forgive yourself after asking for God's forgiveness. Learn to know when you're out of your boundaries, when you take the wrong step or being proud, realise and forgive yourself. Until you learn to forgive yourself you can't move forward. Personal forgiveness leads to genuine confession.
The prodigal son realized his mistake, he came to his senses, forgave himself and went back to ask for His father's forgiveness. If Judas had forgiven himself he wouldn't have committed suicide. His forgiveness would have led him to seek Jesus' forgiveness. Until you free yourself from guilt of your wrongs you might not enjoy the forgiveness of God. Realise when you take the wrong steps, withdraw and forgive yourself, before seeking others forgiveness. To earn good results this month, we need to look past our errors, forgive ourselves and forget the implications, then move on with your task. It's my prayer that we will learn to be humble and forgive ourselves daily in Jesus Mighty Name, Amen.
God Bless you and Good Morning.
