Oluboye Emmanuel Ministry Mobile Daily Devotional Week 47, Day 5, Thursday, 20th November, 2025 TOPIC: GOD'S GRACE: Sustain In Difficult Times (5)

TOPIC: GOD'S GRACE: Sustain In Difficult Times (5)

One Year Bible Reading:
Ezekiel 22 - 23p
James 3: 14 - 4: 1 - 11

MEMORY VERSE:
1 Corinthians 15:10.
"10. But by the grace of God I am what I am: and his grace which was bestowed upon me was not in vain; but I laboured more abundantly than they all: yet not I, but the grace of God which was with me."

BIBLE READING:
2 Corinthians 12:7-9
"7. And lest I should be exalted above measure through the abundance of the revelations, there was given to me a thorn in the flesh, the messenger of Satan to buffet me, lest I should be exalted above measure. 8. For this thing I besought the Lord thrice, that it might depart from me. 9. And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me."

Thinking Point:
God's Grace sustains, encourages and enables one during difficult times.

Believers are meant to go through life like unbelievers do. Difficult times don't exclude believers, it's part of life generally. For us believers, it becomes intense when unbelievers become physical enemies. Most times these challenges don't stop, persecution keeps coming and believers become discouraged but here is the great news, the Grace of God sustains one during these difficult times. God's grace renews, sustains and enables one to go through that season without losing focus. It may be sickness, hard times, financial issues, marital problems or family problems, in all, the Grace of God is sufficient for us as believers.

Apostle Paul was a great example, despite his services for God; winning souls in every nation, he said, "there was given to me a thorn in the flesh, the messenger of satan to buffet me". It was a time in his life that seemed to serve God was not profitable for him. He cried to God thrice but God wouldn't take the pains away. He said, "And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness." There are times when the situation will remain unchanged but sustainable Grace will be available, sufficient Grace will enable us to triumph in such situations. You keep asking yourself how you've been able to keep hope alive, it's God's Grace that's at work. I pray for someone this morning, the sufficient grace to manoeuvre that present situation be released upon you in Jesus name, Amen. God is saying to you today, "My grace is sufficient for thee:". His grace is sufficient for you and for me. We will scale through those situations that have no explanation in Jesus' Mighty name, Amen.

God Bless you and Good Morning.
