TOPIC: ATTRACT GOD'S GRACE: Through Humility (3)

Ezekiel 33 - 34
1 Peter 4

MEMORY VERSE: 
1 Corinthians 15:10.
"10. But by the grace of God I am what I am: and his grace which was bestowed upon me was not in vain; but I laboured more abundantly than they all: yet not I, but the grace of God which was with me."

BIBLE READING:
James 4:6.
"6. But he giveth more grace. Wherefore he saith, God resisteth the proud, but giveth grace unto the humble."

Thinking Point:
God releases grace to those with a humble spirit.

May the Lord of Grace envelop us with His abundance of grace for the day in Jesus' mighty name, Amen.
Grace of God is available to all but is accessible to those who are humble in heart. God's Grace is in abundance daily, despite that, not all Christians will benefit from it because there are protocols to enjoying it. Grace is meant for the humble, the lowly in heart, those who see everything as nothing to puff up about, only such can attract God's Grace. God is ready to lift men by Grace but not those who have lifted themselves up already.

God loved Nebuchadnezzar, called him His deputy, but when pride stepped in, God brought him lower than His subjects, a King, who became an animal for seven years. Likewise, when pride runs in one's vein, Grace will be very far from such, because God only graced the humble, not the proud. 

To enjoy God's Grace, we need to be humble, see ourselves as nobody, our wealth, position, experience, expertise and accolades need not to set us higher above God himself. Humility isn't stupidity anyway, but it makes one see all his/her accomplishments as what God has done, not his/her ability. The scripture says, "God resisteth the proud, but giveth grace unto the humble", only the humble that stands in the presence of God can access His Grace. Be humble to attract God's Grace into your life.
