Oluboye Emmanuel Ministry Mobile Daily Devotional Week 48, Day 4, Wednesday, 26th November, 2025 TOPIC: ATTRACT GOD'S GRACE: Life of Holiness (4)
TOPIC: ATTRACT GOD'S GRACE: Life of Holiness (4)
One Year Bible Reading:
Ezekiel 35 - 36
1 Peter 5
MEMORY VERSE:
1 Corinthians 15:10.
"10. But by the grace of God I am what I am: and his grace which was bestowed upon me was not in vain; but I laboured more abundantly than they all: yet not I, but the grace of God which was with me."
BIBLE READING:
Genesis 6:8-9.
"8. But Noah found grace in the eyes of the LORD. 9. These are the generations of Noah: Noah was a just man and perfect in his generations, and Noah walked with God."
Thinking Point:
Wherever Holiness rules God's grace is attracted to such life.
Today, our life will attract the Grace of God in all we do in Jesus name, Amen.
We have discussed three criteria that attract God's Grace which are, His Praise, His Presence and Humility. Today, we will be studying the fourth criteria which is Living A Holy life; Holiness. God can't walk with an impure soul. Before the Grace of God can be upon us, we need to live a holy life, a righteous life. The book of Hebrews says,
"Follow peace with all men, and HOLINESS, WITHOUT WHICH NO MAN SHALL SEE THE LORD: Hebrews 12:14.
When Holiness is lacking in one's life, the Grace of God will be far from such life. Noah was not picked among the whole world, but His Holy life separated Him for God's Grace. The scriptures say, "Noah was a JUST MAN and PERFECT IN HIS GENERATIONS, and Noah walked with God", without Holiness no one can enjoy the Grace of God. Mind you, the Grace of God is not measured by wealth or fleets of cars but being found perfect, just and separated from all evil. Grace may not be earned by prayer but by a changed life, seeking God and not just serving God. Being humble and living a Holy life will invite Grace, not our prayers only.
Cornelius was another example of a man who attracted grace through a holy and righteous life. The scripture said of him, "A devout man, and one that feared God with all his house, which gave much alms to the people, and prayed to God alway." - Acts 10:2. And while he was praying God sent an angel to him and he ended up enjoying the grace of God through the ministry of Apostle Peter. Living a life that pleases God, holy life, living righteously attracts God's grace without request. May the Grace of God find us attractive in Jesus Mighty Name, Amen.
