Thinking Point:
Our inbuilt gifting is an instrument of lifting if we put it to us wisely.
The Mighty Hand of the Lord lifts you about every limitation today in Jesus' Mighty Name, Amen.
Beloved, God has planted in everyone the seed of lifting before we were born. He imbibed it in us before we got into our mother's womb, Jeremiah 1:5. If that gifting is not needed you won't be on earth and neither would I, yes. But God made it possible for you and I to be on earth in order to use our gift to solve other people's problems. You are not lifted yet because you've not discovered your gift or rather, you've not been using your gift effectively. To be lifted we need to put to use what God has deposited in us to help others. If not for the gifting of Joseph he would be forgotten in Egypt without a trace.
We only got the record of Joseph interpreting Butler's dream but never heard of others he has used his gift to help. One of the reasons we heard about the story was that, the Butler was going back to the palace and he will have the advantage of accessing Pharaoh so, Joseph said,
"14. But think on me when it shall be well with thee, and shew kindness, I pray thee, unto me, and make mention of me unto Pharaoh, and bring me out of this house: - Genesis 40:14.
And he remembered him, although after two years. It is what you have been used to, what you are good at, what you use to help others that will speak up for your lifting. When your gift is dormant your lifting is pending. When your gift is hidden your lifting will never be remembered. What are you gifted to do? What are you good at doing? What did people commend in you that brings you joy? That is your gifting, that's your talent. That is the inbuilt gifting of God over your life, start using it effectively and you will be amazed how your lifting will show up. Oh, you feel discouraged because nobody is speaking of your gift? Keep using it and showcase what you have. One day, someone will talk about your gift and talent and that will announce it to your world. Daniel's gift made him reign with over four Kings in Babylon, keep using it, let people know what you are good at and your lifting will show up like the Sun. Don't give up, don't give in, just keep moving.
