Oluboye Emmanuel Ministry Mobile Daily Devotional Week 52, Day 5, Thursday, 25th December, 2025 TOPIC: THE STRENGTH OF THE LORD: Strength Brings Endurance (12)

TOPIC: THE STRENGTH OF THE LORD: Strength Brings Endurance (12)

One Year Bible Reading:
Zachariah 1 - 3
Revelation 17

MEMORY VERSE:
Isaiah 41:10.
"10. Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness."

BIBLE READING:
Job 14:14.
"14. If a man die, shall he live again? all the days of my appointed time will I wait, till my change come."

Thinking Point:
Endurance in the face of trial is a product of God's strength.

Merry Christmas to all believers and followers of Mobile Daily Devotional. As we celebrate the birth of our hope giver, redeemer and our saviour, may His purpose over our lives become visible for the world to see and imitate in Jesus' wonderful name, Amen.

As we round up our teaching on the topic, "The Strength Of The Lord" we will be considering the last effect of God's strength in one's life which is Endurance. The strength of God gives the ability to endure in the face of challenges in life. The reason many believers keep forging ahead in spite of opposition and persecution is the spirit of endurance via the strength of God upon their lives. You have reason to quit, to turn back, to stop the race but that strength in you keeps giving you the reason to endure the situation and you were unable to call it a quit.

Job was a perfect example of that spirit of endurance. He was dealt with by the devil, all that brings him joy was taken away, destroyed and left to die, but that inner strength of God within him gave him the ability to endure all the pain and refuse to sin against God. He proclaimed,
“...all the days of my appointed time will I wait, till my change come.”

He has the hope of a new beginning so the strength of God that the devil couldn't reach have him the spirit to endure till his change came as he proclaimed

Have you seen men of God and other believers going through unexplainable situations and are still standing? That is the result of endurance in the face of trials. Jesus said,
"33. These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world." - John 16:33.

This is endurance from the strength of God at work within us. If you look back, it has not been so palatable this year but that strength to endure keeps coming and we made it till date, God is at work within us.

Father, we thank you for the strength to endure every situation that came our way this year. Your strength to endure has made many situations that seem unbearable become a stepping stone, we return to say thank you father. For the remaining days of the year we know you are there and you will still be with us till the coming years, thank you father, blessed be to you Lord, and in Jesus name, we have prayed, Amen.

God Bless you and Good Morning.
