"17. And whatsoever ye do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God and the Father by him."
Thinking Point:
When God becomes your priority, He handles your publicity. Put Him First.
The LORD bless you, and keep you, make his face shine upon you, and be gracious unto you, and lift up his countenance upon thee, and give thee peace, in Jesus name, Amen.
Our focus today is putting God's interest first ahead of fame. That calling, skill, talent, gift or uniqueness of yours should be used to bring glory to God before any other thing else. If your focus is based on self glorification it may end in futility. Whatever God blesses a man with is meant to announce His mercy first, and showcase His glory by affecting lives before announcing you. When God is put aside with what He gives, struggles may be the result. Everyone blessed with uniqueness who uses it to glorify self always ends in frustration, that will never be our portion in Jesus name, Amen. So therefore, our first duty is to please God with His endowment upon our lives, "For It Is He That Giveth Thee Power To Get Wealth" - Deuteronomy 8:18. "For Without Me Ye Can Do Nothing" - John 15:5.
Apostle Paul said,
"And whatsoever ye do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus," when God is not the primary aim of our endeavour mercy will be absent, affecting lives positively will be secondary. Mind you, we don't become great to grind or ground others, we are all unique to make the world a better place. When you do things for self glorification you truncate the purpose of God for that uniqueness in you. Putting God first is one of the keys that announces you to your world. In all that we do God's priority should be first not our publicity, fame or glorification. Those who make God the focus God focuses on them. Let God feel and experience your uniqueness through other people's lives and He will handle your greatness.
