Oluboye Emmanuel Ministry Mobile Daily Devotional Week 4, Day 4, Wednesday, 21st January, 2026 TOPIC: 2026, My Year To BE SOUGHT FOR: Expand Your Tent (20)

TOPIC: 2026, My Year To BE SOUGHT FOR: Expand Your Tent (20)

One Year Bible Reading:
Genesis 49 - 50
Matthew 14 :13 - 36

MEMORY VERSE:
2 Samuel 9:1.
"1. And David said, Is there yet any that is left of the house of Saul, that I may shew him kindness for Jonathan's sake?

BIBLE READING:
Isaiah 54:2-3.
"2 Enlarge the place of thy tent, and let them stretch forth the curtains of thine habitations: spare not, lengthen thy cords, and strengthen thy stakes;
3 For thou shalt break forth on the right hand and on the left; and thy seed shall inherit the Gentiles, and make the desolate cities to be inhabited."

Thinking Point:
Limitation stifles growth, and constraint curtails advancement.

A pleasant morning to everyone, thank you for making it a day again. The Lord hears the voice of your cry and attends to the desires of your heart this day in Jesus name, Amen.

On our journey to being Sought For, another key to work with is the key of breaking new grounds, fighting limitation by enlarging your coast, breaking forth in that field. One attitude that kills greatness in life is the attitude to remain in a position for too long, restriction to move forward because of fear or leaving one's comfort. When you keep cooking white rice everyday as a wife, one day the children or husband will ask, “can't you cook any other delicacy with this rice? You shouldn't be familiar with only one tool for years without adding other tools in the same line. Enlarging your coast isn't the same as leaving your field of work. You can be in the same field and still enlarge your coast without going out of your area of calling. Don't confine yourself to a single niche, expand your horizon! Take a page from the book of Aliko Dangote, Africa's richest man. He started with cement manufacturing, but didn't stop there. He diversified into flour production, sugar, salt, rice, spaghetti, and noodles. And guess what? He's now a major player in refinery, oil, and gas. The moral? Don't put all your eggs in one basket. Explore, innovate, and scale! When we allow restriction to dictate our path, we inadvertently sabotage our potential for progress. Embracing freedom and flexibility, on the other hand, fosters an environment conducive to innovation and momentum. Let's break free from the shackles of restriction and unleash our true potential!

The Lord speaking through Prophet Isaiah said to the barren; those who felt they are not productive in one area or the other, enlarge your tent, expand and don't confine yourself into one area of your field. Break new grounds, stretch yourself and gain new knowledge to exploit. Don't be a loner, dare to be different this year and you will become the sought for. Take more classes, develop your ideas and stop confining yourself in a circle all day long. God is ready when you are ready to move. God is a God of movement not a God of stagnation. Move and progress, stay and rot. Choose one of the above for God is waiting for your decision. Start thinking of that area in your files to explore and you will be amazed what is coming out of it. Stay blessed.

God Bless you and Good Morning.
