Thinking Point:
The season of Prayer is the season of renewal and empowerment.
Our Father in Heaven, we are most grateful for bringing us this far, to the end of January without any regret, sorrow and loss of life, to you be all the glory forevermore in Jesus' Mighty name, Amen.
The season of prayer is that time when you don't know what else to do other than to seek the face of God. It is a season whereby you receive enablement for the task ahead of you. It is a time to communion with God truthfully and genuinely in order to bring His will to pass. During Jesus' separation season for forty days and forty nights, He was praying for the establishment of His ministry, Luke 4. Seeking the will of God on how and what to do. This season is the season you reveal your weaknesses to God so He can replace it with His strength. Yes, prayer is without a season but there is a period where you need to be with God alone to hear Him clearly and directly. In this season, God reveals His mission and assignment in detail for clarity.
Jonah's season of prayer was a little different in that He already got the assignment but derailed from the assignment. He was in that season of separation then he went into the season of prayers. He sought the face of God from the belly of the whale. He repented of his act and disobedience to God and God listened to him.
Beloved, when it seems you've missed the way, go into a season of prayer. When your marriage becomes a battlefield, activate the season for prayers. When your children become what you don't bargain for, turn to God in prayers. When business becomes boring and dry, enter into the season of prayer. Before you start that journey, that marriage, that carrier, go into a season of prayer with God to make every spiritual strength available. Jonah turned to God in prayer when He discovered he missed his path and God intervened by delivering him. Your case can't end that way, go to God in prayer, confess your shortcomings, request for His leading and directives and you will get your path right again.
God Bless you and Good Morning.
