Oluboye Emmanuel Ministry Mobile Daily Devotional Week 4, Day 2, Monday, 19th January, 2026 TOPIC: 2026, My Year To BE SOUGHT FOR: Pray Prophecy To Reality (18)

TOPIC: 2026, My Year To BE SOUGHT FOR: Pray Prophecy To Reality (18)

One Year Bible Reading:
Genesis 44 - 45
Matthew 13: 24 - 43

MEMORY VERSE:
2 Samuel 9:1.
"1. And David said, Is there yet any that is left of the house of Saul, that I may shew him kindness for Jonathan's sake?

BIBLE READING:
1 Kings 18:41-42.
"41 And Elijah said unto Ahab, Get thee up, eat and drink; for there is a sound of abundance of rain.
42 So Ahab went up to eat and to drink. And Elijah went up to the top of Carmel; and he cast himself down upon the earth, and put his face between his knees,"

Thinking Point:
Don't wait for prophecy fulfillment, pray it to fulfillment.

This new week shall bring new testimony to us, we shall enjoy the favour of God in full in Jesus name, Amen.

As we all know that the year has been declared our year of "Being Sought For" and we have been discussing every needed step for us to be sought for. Today, our focus says, "Pray Prophecy to Reality". God does speak to us about our future. He sometimes reveals His intentions to us like He said in Jeremiah 29:11,
"11 For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end."

Yes, after you have done what we have been discussing since 1st of January 2026, the next thing you need to do is to start praying those promises and prophecies into reality. Prayer has it impart before you can be sought for. When we cease to pray we are not reminding God what He said about us. Prayer is a form of communication with God, speaking His words back to Him. What God said is what He will do but many times we need to remind Him His word that you said "I will make you great", "I will take you to Nations", you need to remind God of His spoken words concerning you.

1 Kings 18:1.
"1 And it came to pass after many days, that the word of the LORD came to Elijah in the third year, saying, Go, shew thyself unto Ahab; and I will send rain upon the earth.

When Elijah was done with the killing of the prophet Baal, he was expecting the rain but no drop. He told the King, I heard the sound of abundant rain, so go and eat and drink, but there was no rain. Mind you, God called Elijah to show himself to Ahab and he will send the rain. God said it doesn't stop us from praying for it to come to pass. God declares there shouldn't be a reason for us not to remind Him. What did Elijah do? He prayed the hardest prayer ever recorded in the Bible. The Bible said,
"...., And Elijah went up to the top of Carmel; AND HE CAST HIMSELF DOWN UPON THE EARTH, AND PUT HIS FACE BETWEEN HIS KNEES,"

Elijah had to pray to God to send the rain. Yes, prophecies have gone out, your future has been declared but you need to pray for it to come to pass. Don't just act, learn and train alone, pray those declarations to fulfillment. Let God know you are still waiting for those declarations. Let Him know you trust Him to bring it to pass. Stop waiting for those promises or crying about them, start praying them to reality. Start speaking to God concerning it, saying, Father, bring your word to fulfillment in my life this year, let men see what you have spoken about my life. Turn those prophecies to reality and let your name be glorified in my life, in Jesus Mighty name, Amen.

God Bless you and Good Morning.
