Oluboye Emmanuel Ministry© Mobile Daily Devotional Week 14, Day 2, Monday, 30th March, 2026 TOPIC: HANDLING DOUBT: Moses (2)

TOPIC: HANDLING DOUBT: Moses (2)

One Year Bible Reading:
Joshua 5 - 6
Luke 8 : 22 - 39

MEMORY VERSE:
Jeremiah 32:27
"27. Behold, I am the LORD, the God of all flesh: is there any thing too hard for me?"

BIBLE READING:
Numbers 11:18-23
"18. And say thou unto the people, Sanctify yourselves against to morrow, and ye shall eat flesh: for ye have wept in the ears of the LORD, saying, Who shall give us flesh to eat? for it was well with us in Egypt: therefore the LORD will give you flesh, and ye shall eat.
19. Ye shall not eat one day, nor two days, nor five days, neither ten days, nor twenty days;
20. But even a whole month, until it come out at your nostrils, and it be loathsome unto you: because that ye have despised the LORD which is among you, and have wept before him, saying, Why came we forth out of Egypt?
21. And Moses said, The people, among whom I am, are six hundred thousand footmen; and thou hast said, I will give them flesh, that they may eat a whole month.
22. Shall the flocks and the herds be slain for them, to suffice them? or shall all the fish of the sea be gathered together for them, to suffice them?”

Thinking Point:
Doubt focuses on what is seen while faith focuses on the unseen.

Welcome to the first working day of this week, our hands shall receive strength to perform excellently this week. The strength of God will rest on us for success in all our endeavors in Jesus' mighty name, Amen.

Handling doubt has been our focus this week. Yesterday, we saw how Sarah doubted God's promises but Abraham's faith upheld it. Today, we focus on Moses, the meekest man on earth. Moses was a man who walked and spoke with the Lord face to face. He was a man God fought for against his siblings but, there came a time Moses doubted the promises of God. He wasn't sure of what God was saying because he was focusing on the things seen and not the ability of God. He saw the crowd not the possibility of God's word. He saw six hundred foot men aside the woman and children while God saw a soul. It is my prayer today that we will see what God sees and not what we see with our eyes in Jesus' name, Amen.

God was saying to Moses, I will feed everyone with meat for more than weeks. But Moses responded, the men alone are six hundred foot men, how on Earth will this be possible? Moses was not supposed to doubt God. He had seen God’s might but he doubted God's ability to provide meat in the wilderness. I don't know what God has promised you but listen to me, He is ready to do whatsoever He instructed you to do. He has the ability to perform those prophecies if only you would act accordingly. Moses went ahead to deliver the instructions and God made meat available for more than 1 million people, both men and women, children inclusive for months. Our doubt may be the reason why our manifestation is still hanging. Every promise of God needs faith, not doubt, to become reality. If Moses had refused to pass the instructions to the Israelites what would have happened to them? They would have died of hunger or without meat for forty years. Do you know how many people would have benefited from those instructions you doubted? Sit down and have a rethink on what you are doubting. Even if you don't believe it, act according to God's instructions and you will be amazed by the outcome.

God Bless and Good Morning.
