Thinking Point:
The blessing of the Lord is preserved by staying with Him.

Welcome to the last edition of our topic, "Lesson From Blind Bartimaeus". We bless the Lord for every revelation from the beginning of this topic. As we round up today, I like to encourage you to stay put with Jesus when your requests are granted. It's common to see people turn their back on God after His visitation. The blessings of God get them distracted. Many turned back from God to enjoy life without staying put with God. When God was addressing the Israelites before entering the land of Canaan, He gave them instruction saying,
"17. And thou say in thine heart, My power and the might of mine hand hath gotten me this wealth.
18. But thou shalt remember the LORD thy God: for it is He that giveth thee power to get wealth, that He may establish His covenant which He sware unto thy fathers, as it is this day." - Deuteronomy 8:17-18.

God told the Israelites not to put Him aside when all go well with them. Not to think that their power and might have gotten them wealth. Likewise, do not forget God when He turns your life around, Stay put with God, follow after Him, don't be carried away by His blessings.

Our text showed us what Blind Bartimaeus did, "And immediately he received his sight, and FOLLOWED JESUS IN THE WAY." He followed Jesus instantly, no excuse to see his family first, or go back for the garment he casted away nor turn to say, "Jesus thank you let me live my life now" but instantly He followed Jesus, why? Because He alone can sustain whatever He gives us. He is the preserver of all His blessing upon us, so we need to follow Him and not turn away from Him. Many have fallen victim to this, by turning away from God after receiving a good job, fruit of the womb, change of story, until dryness comes up before they return to God, let yours not be so. Stick with Him after His blessings and follow Him to preserve what He blesses you with. God bless us all in Jesus Mighty name.

God Bless you and Good Morning.
