Thinking Point:
Your location is important in the journey of your life.
Good day Beloved of God, it's a new week with God leading us into that expected end He has for us in Jesus' mighty name, Amen. This week, our search light will be on Blind Bartimaeus, the blind man who received His sight miraculously. What was His contribution and how did Jesus heal him?
Firstly, this man was rightly positioned. Yes, he had a good location, the scripture says, "By the highway", not in the jungle or a corridor where no one could have located him. Many of us are wrongly positioned in life, we stay with friends and family with different ideas. We don't want to be alone, we want to yoke with others thereby, we are far from the reach of God.
Remember, God told Isaac to stay in Gerar, Gen. 26:1-2, but many of us left for Egypt too soon. Where are you positioned? Your location determines what comes your way. Blind Bartimaeus was rightly positioned for his miracle, he had a constant position for his business. Do you jump from church to church, workplace to workplace without a permanent position? Are you rightly positioned or flocking around with others? Think about this for a while, why are you where you are? The more you retain your position the more your appointed day comes.
About the impotent man in John 5:5-6, who Jesus healed, the scripture says,
"6. When Jesus saw him lie, And Knew That He Had Been Now A Long Time In That Case, He Saith Unto Him, Wilt Thou Be Made Whole?
Jesus met him and knew he was there for a long time and he healed him specifically, why? Because he was still waiting at his location. Jesus single handedly attended to him and set him free. Where is your place? Where is your position? Why did you leave before the time? Are you rightly positioned where you are? Check and see if you are in where God places you.
God Bless you and Good Morning.
