Thinking Point:
Responding with your ability is what shows your readiness for a change.
This week, we shall arise and shine forth the light of God within us, we shall overcome every spirit of procrastination around our lives in Jesus Mighty name, Amen.
Beloved, there is what I call the "Spirit of Start And Stop" in life. It simply means, you start a project and stop along the way. You begin a mission and along the line you find reasons to quit or abandon the mission, not because it won't profit you again but you just lose interest in it, that is the spirit of start and stop. You have all it takes to move on in accomplishing that goal but for no reason you felt too busy to go on with it. Such persons have a lot of abandoned projects and become lazy to start afresh again.
In the case of blind Bartimaeus, he was eager to compliment what he started, he was eager to see the end of his effort. When Jesus sent to him, he took away every garment of distraction and ROSE to meet with Jesus. He wasn't looking for excuses again. He wasn't telling people, "Please tell Him I am blind I can't see", no he rose up and ran to Jesus. Many of us met some distractions on our path and overcame them but when another delay showed up we pitched our tent and quit moving. We forgot the efforts we've put in to get to where we are. We stopped trying while the result was waiting ahead. At the end of it all, it became an abandoned project and we started another project which will later end the same way, "start and stop attitude". I pray this morning, God will give you the grace to complete every project you started and abandoned from today on in Jesus' mighty name, Amen.
The blind man rose and went to Jesus which proved, I am ready for my miracle, are you sure you are ready for that change you crave for? Are you ready to start where you stopped from? Are you ready to right those wrongs?
Isaiah 60:1.
"1. Arise, shine; for thy light is come, and the glory of the LORD is risen upon thee."
This is the voice of the Lord to someone this morning. Arise and shine, it's your responsibility to raise, not God's responsibility. It's my duty to get up and complete the task I have abandoned. Until we rise we can't go beyond our present situation. The glory of the Lord is waiting for our manifestation but we need to rise and do something, complete those abandoned projects. We need to revisit those dreams we ran away from. Sometimes it's not the village people as people often say that is our problem, we are the village people troubling ourselves. Stop procrastinating, get determined to complete every project you abandon. Go back and start those projects one after the other, before you realise, you will be a champion in your endeavours. God is still waiting for you to run to Him by completing that project, kick start it again and stay till the end.
God Bless you and Good Morning.
