Oluboye Emmanuel Ministry© Mobile Daily Devotional Week 16, Day 3, Tuesday, 14th April, 2026 TOPIC: JEPHTHAH: Create A New Beginning (3)

TOPIC: JEPHTHAH: Create A New Beginning (3)

One Year Bible Reading:
Judges 17 - 18
Luke 14 : 1 - 24

MEMORY VERSE:
Micah 7:8.
"8. Rejoice not against me, O mine enemy: when I fall, I shall arise; when I sit in darkness, the LORD shall be a light unto me."

BIBLE READING:
Judges 11:3.
"3. Then Jephthah fled from his brethren, and dwelt in the land of Tob: and there were gathered vain men to Jephthah, and went out with him.'

Thinking Point:
End what has ended and start creating a new beginning for yourself.

In the name of Jesus, every negative avenue, negative thoughts, negative advice that the devil has been using to deprive us of a new start, by the power in the name of Jesus, we are disconnected from such in Jesus' Mighty name. We will not be taking advantage of any more, in Jesus' name, Amen.

Jephthah was the child of Gilead born by a harlot raised with his brothers but sent out by his brothers. He was denied his father's inheritance. Listen to me, enmity is born out of possessing what belongs to you. They are against you because they want what is yours. They want to take advantage of you but what they don't know is that the material blessings they can see are lesser compared to the covenants of God upon your life. If they are after what you have let it go because you carry more than what they can see. You are loaded with blessings from above. They only saw the physical not the spiritual, you are about to manifest in Jesus name, Amen. What they wanted was his inheritance so he handed it over to them.

We saw how Japhthah left his brothers. The scripture said, "Then Jephthah FLED from his brethren" he hastened up and left them. He ran for his life and resettled in the land of Tob where no one will dictate or threaten him. Listen to me, when you put your past into the past you create a new beginning. When you turn away from that comfort zone you build a better world of your own. Because of what Jephthah carried, which is beyond the physical, men flocked to him, mighty men followed him. They made him their lord and king. They made him their ruler, they honoured and protected him from harm. If you don't leave your present location your kingship will remain servanthood. If you are needed in a place, why beg to stay? If you're sent packing, why cry on how to survive? When Joseph was sold out by his brothers it was for God to make a king out of him. He would have remained at home and limited his reign to his father's house but no, he remained in Egypt. That new place is waiting for you if you are ready to leave your hiding place. The best of Jephthah could not manifest until he left his family. Stop accepting the insult and the mentality of, "I don't have where to go," God is the one leading you out, look up to God and move. A leadership role is waiting for you out there. Jephthah became a leader of vain men who made him great again. Excuses will always squeeze you from progressing. People are waiting for your leadership. Take the step and locate your land of Tob. Face front not backward any more for the Lord is with you.

God Bless you and Good Morning.
