TOPIC: FOLLOWING JESUS: Honour Your Discourages (8)

One Year Bible Reading:
1st Samuel 26 - 28
Luke 22: 1 - 39

MEMORY VERSE:
Matthew 11:28.
"28. Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest."

BIBLE READING:
John 6:11.
"11. "... HE DISTRIBUTED TO THE DISCIPLES, AND THE DISCIPLES TO THEM THAT WERE SET DOWN; and likewise of the fishes as much as they would."

Thinking Point:
Don't ignore your discouragers, get them involved as cheerleaders.

This new week, we will testify, many will jubilate and congratulate us because God is visiting our lives in Jesus name, Amen.

Gratitude over little things, we said, yields multiplication. Have you thank God for those benefits you look down on? Those help you commonise? Say, Thank You Jesus for every little and magnificent help I have received, I am most grateful. This morning, we shall learn another principle from Jesus' lifestyle. Jesus was informed that a lad had five loaves of barley and two small fishes. He collected the little provision and thanked God over it and it multiplied. The first set of persons He handled it to was those who saw the impossibility, those who believed that over 5,000 persons can't be fed in that situation. Jesus didn't react according to their words or their faith, No, He handed the miracle provision to them so they can be the first partaker of the testimony. They saw it happened, they touched it and they shared it. I pray for someone today, those who try to discourage you intentionally and non-intentionally, they will experience your dreams coming through. They will be part of those who will testify about your accomplishments.

One thing to know about Jesus in today's lesson is that Jesus never pointed accusing fingers at Philip and Andrew. He never spoke about their discouraging words. He never referred to it, why? Because their words led to the miracle. From their response proceeded the little that brought the miracle. They were clearly saying what they believed but Jesus was acting according to what He also believed. You don't need to remind them of their words after your achievement. You don't need to sideline them from the miracle, start with them, let them be part of the testifiers. Don't remind them of their attitude because they are regretting their actions and words already. Let them be involved, assign them duties as God answers your prayers. Don't create enemies after because of your success. Relate with everyone with an open mind.

God Bless you and Good Morning.
