Thinking Points:
Acting with the available resources attract other resources needed.
The Lord's hand has preserved us though the huddles of this week again and we came out victorious, glory be to God Almighty forevermore, Amen.
Yesterday, in our study, we saw how Andrew gave Jesus another discouraging idea after that of Philip's advice. Philip told Jesus the amount of money that's needed to feed the people while Andrew presented a lad with five barley loaves and two small fishes and still asked Jesus "What can that do in this situation?" A visionary has the ability to see beyond every discouraging word. They are able to turn mockery into miracles as I said in the last teaching. The disciples thought they were discouraging Jesus not knowing they were given Him the needed idea. Jesus saw the little which He needed and acted upon it, may our eyes be open to those little ideas disguised as mockery in Jesus name, Amen.
When Jesus heard that there was little, He took the next step, He began to act on it. Beloved, it is always a little that becomes multiple if we can see through it. Everything in life starts with a seed not with a fruit. Jesus saw the five barley loaves and two small fishes as the needed seed for miracle while they saw it as a fruit - end result. Then, Jesus got into action. He stopped looking elsewhere for plenty but acted with the little.
Many of us are still looking for all the resources needed to execute that project while squandering the little resources available. We neglected the seed available looking for the fruit not available. In Jesus' case, He started by giving instructions, "Make the people sit down." That small idea, advice, instructions is enough to kick start that dream. That little resource is a step in the right direction if you will start acting on it. Jesus stops asking questions He starts acting on the five barley loaves and two small fishes. He began the preparation of feeding 5,000 people with the little available. Go ahead and do something with that little available before you waste it. Everything big today starts small. Nothing starts bigger because whatever starts bigger won't go bigger but smaller, but when you start small there's the tendency to grow bigger. Stop waiting and start acting. Stop wasting the available resources and start utilizing it rightly. Act on the little information you have and the rest of the resources will come as you keep moving.
God Bless you and Good Morning.
