Thinking Point:
Jesus asks questions, we also need to ask questions before acting.

Today, I pray with you, at that moment of confusion, discouragement, disappointment and silence in our life, my God will show up with testimonies in Jesus' mighty name, Amen.

Following Jesus, believing in His power and having faith that he can do all things isn't a waste of time. Serving Jesus with our time, resources, energy and strength can't be in vain because God is a rewarder of them that diligently seek Him, Hebrews 11:6. So, in the time of confusion, rejection, neglect, God knows what to do, He knows how to handle the situation we are in. I am speaking to someone today, that God knows how to handle that mess you are in presently, keep trusting in Him.

Jesus was asking Philip, where shall we buy bread to feed these people? But the scripture tells us that Jesus already knew what to do, He was only asking to hear their opinion.

When blind Bartimaeus met with Jesus, He came as a blind man but Jesus was still seeking his opinion on what he would like Him to do, and the man replied, that I may see, Mark 10:42-52. One would have ask Jesus, what do you think he need, someone is blind and you are still asking him what he wants for you? Beloved, God want to know your opinion even when He knows what you want. In John 5, Jesus saw an impotent man for thirty-eight years, sitted, waiting for healing and He asked Him, "Will thou be made whole? John 5:5 - 15. God values our opinions before acting. Likewise, your opinion matters if God will intervene in your situation. Your contribution matters if you want a change in our lives.

The second lesson to learn is that we also need to seek people's opinions before granting an assistant. We need to hear their mind, know what they desire so that we won't think we are a blessing while being a burden to them. We need to understand people's needs in order to be a blessing to them. Jesus asked his disciples. He will always ask people before helping them. What do you want me to do for you? You may have a plan for them but still ask. If it's below your intention, upgrade their dream to what you have in plan and if it's above your capability give them what you also have in mind. Don't conclude you know it all, ask questions before helping people. Get to know their opinion. When Jesus as Philip and his opinion was less than His intention he sidelined it. Try to help but also try to know which area to be of help this will bring more results to both sides.

God Bless you and Good Morning.
