Thinking Point:
Impatience breeds inexperience, but patience leads to experience and a great outcome
The Spirit of the Lord will guide our path to His will, grant us the help to fulfil His purpose for our lives in Jesus' wonderful name, Amen.
Attitude to develop as a Christian for today is patience - ability to wait for a process to end. Patience is the ability to wait calmly and tolerantly, often in the face of challenges or delays. It's about being steady and composed, even when things don't happen as quickly as you'd like. This attitude makes one look like a fool to others. Patience brings experience, understanding and refines our attitude before the main goal is realised. God is so patient with us, as sinners, that He waited to send Jesus to save us from the fall of Adam. He waited, tried many ways to bring us back since the time of Noah, Abraham, the prophets, David and then to Jesus. Our God still exercises patience up till now with sinner according to Apostle Peter who said,
"9. The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance. 2 Peter 3:9.
He is talking of God's patience to save all from destruction. God shows us the importance of patience. Abraham our Father also shows what patience entails before He got Isaac, the promise of God. Nothing good comes without patience. Think of it like waiting for a slow-cooked meal - it takes time, but it's worth it. Patience comes in many ways - waiting for goals to manifest, dealing with tough people, or just navigating life's delays. It can be in service, marriage, business, career, taking important decisions, waiting for the fruit of the womb or life partner, as long as God is leading there is always a testimony after patience.
King David said in Psalms 40,
"1. I waited patiently for the LORD; and he inclined unto me, and heard my cry.
2. He brought me up also out of an horrible pit, out of the miry clay, and set my feet upon a rock, and established my goings."
When we exercise patience till the end we enjoy unprecedented results like David did. Whatever patience cooks is always sweet. Patience isn't easy, it comes with a lot of insults and name callings but it is worth it when the result shows. Nobody waited patiently without having something to show. I know that the Lord is speaking to someone this morning to strengthen your patience and I pray that the strength rests upon you right now in Jesus name, Amen. Patience needs to be worked on personally before God takes over. Patience gives you experience more than those who seek for shortcuts.
God Bless you and Good Morning.
