"13. We having the same spirit of faith, according as it is written, I Believed, And Therefore Have I Spoken; We Also Believe, And Therefore Speak;"
BIBLE READING:
Isaiah 41:9-10.
"9. Thou whom I have taken from the ends of the earth, and called thee from the chief men thereof, and said unto thee, Thou art my servant; I have chosen thee, and not cast thee away.
10. Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness."
Thinking Point:
There may be situations troubling you, but God says, “Fear Not”.
We give all the praises to the Lord our God for His faithfulness over our lives. To Him be all Honour and adoration in Jesus' Mighty name, amen.
This week we shall be revealing the mind of God concerning us from the light of the scripture. Many times we forgot His promises concerning us and bothered ourselves with fear and terror while God has given His verdict about us. The first thing to know is that we are not alone, He is with Us, He is always right beside us. Jesus has restored us back to Him, we are sons and daughters of God, so He sees us the way He sees Jesus, for the Bible says He called us His brethren, Hebrews 2:11-12, so therefore, every promise in the Bible to God's children is directed to us.
God speaking Isaiah 41:11, saying,
10. Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness."
To whoever is reading this devotional, God is saying, Fear Not, no matter the situation, fear has been subdued except we preferred to pick it up ourselves. He brought us from a far, from the world, not considering our past since we have accepted Jesus Christ as our Lord and savior. He admonishes us to put our trust in His word and Fear Not, He is with us. There may be situations around you presently. You may have many questions troubling your heart as of now, but the world of God is saying, Fear Not nor Be dismayed. God is there to help me. He is there to help me. He said "I Will Strengthen You, I Will Help You, I will Uphold You With my Right Hand". Hallelujah. Listen to me, there's no more assurance than this when we are faced with challenges. After playing our part by praying, seeking His will, doing the needful, then, we need to trust Him to handle the rest. We need to put our faith in God that He will handle the rest. He said, "I will strengthen you, I will uphold you". Whatever may be the situation you are faced with I will like you to pick up your Bible and recite this verse of the Bible and declare, "I refuse to be afraid. I dip myself in the Mighty hands of God, I receive His strength. I receive boldness because God is with me. Fear Not is His daily promise to us as long as we are with Him. He is handling our fears.
