Oluboye Emmanuel Ministry© Mobile Daily Devotional Week 24, Day 3, Tuesday, 9th June 2026 TOPIC: INGREDIENTS OF FAITH: Speaking Your Faith: (6)

TOPIC: INGREDIENTS OF FAITH: Speaking Your Faith: (6)

One Year Bible Reading:
2 Chronicles 1 - 4
Acts 1:1 - 26

MEMORY VERSE:
Hebrews 11:1.
"Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen."

BIBLE READING:
Numbers 14:28.
“Say unto them, As truly as I live, saith the LORD, as ye have spoken in mine ears, so will I do to you:”

Thinking Point:
Your words create your world. Your words reflect what you believe.

Every word of God concerning you and me will be activated today. Every word we rejected with our mouth unknowingly is reversed in Jesus’ name, Amen.

The ingredients of faith have been our focus. We started with ‘Hearing God’s word’, moved to ‘Believing God’s word’, and today we proceed to ‘Speaking what we Believe’ — declaring what you believe God will do.

In creation, God spoke what He believed, not what was happening. He operated by faith, Genesis 1:1-31. Believers today hear and believe, so we pray, but we speak contrary to what we prayed for. Your word confirms what God should do. But when your mouth says two different things, God is limited on which one to work on.

The Shunammite woman’s son died. She laid him on the prophet’s bed and asked for permission to see the prophet. When her husband asked, “Why?”, she said, “All is well.” Imagine a man staying hours in his house with his dead child without knowing he was dead. The woman spoke what she believed, 2 Kings 4.

Our words create what we believe. When we speak positively, we expect a positive response. Let me put it this way: our word is spirit. When we say it, it become real. God said of Caleb,
“But my servant Caleb, because HE HAD ANOTHER SPIRIT WITH HIM, and has followed me fully, him will I bring into the land where he went; and his descendants shall possess it.” Numbers 14:24.

What was that spirit?
“And Caleb stilled the people before Moses, and said, Let us go up at once, and possess it; for we are well able to overcome it.” Numbers 13:30.

A believing and speaking spirit.
Jesus said in John 6:63,
“It is the Spirit that gives life; the flesh profits nothing. THE WORDS THAT I SPEAK TO YOU, THEY ARE SPIRIT, AND THEY ARE LIFE.”

If we are children of God, then our words will reflect God. Our words become spirit, and life is released on every word that proceeds out of our mouth. What are you saying — what you believe or what you are seeing now?

For faith to be effective, we must speak in line with what God said. Our words should reflect what we believe, not what we see now. God spoke to the weary Israelites in Joel 3:10:
“Beat your plowshares into swords, and your pruning hooks into spears. LET THE WEAK SAY, I AM STRONG.”

No one should accept defeat. Wake up and declare that you are strong. Declare there is a way. Declare you are free from oppression. Listen: when you speak it, the Spirit behind it brings it to pass. Don’t stop believing — start speaking what you believe. Let your faith come alive by speaking it.

Prayers:
Father, thank You for all Your promises to me. I believe them. Father, give me courage to speak them into reality. Help me graduate from believing to speaking it forth, in Jesus’ mighty name, Amen.

God Bless you and Good Morning.
