TOPIC: Faith On The Road: Trials Of Faith (6)
One Year Bible Reading:
Ezra 7 - 8
Acts 10 :24 - 48
MEMORY VERSE:
Hebrews 11:1.
“Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.”
BIBLE READING:
Luke 8:49-50.
“While he yet spake, there cometh one from the ruler of the synagogue's house, saying to him, Thy daughter is dead; trouble not the Master.’
“But when Jesus heard it, he answered him, saying, Fear not: believe only, and she shall be made whole.”
Thinking Point:
Resistance intensifies as the manifestation of faith draws near.
Today we will laugh, we shall be joyful, sorrow will be far from our dwelling. Doors of opportunity will open in their accord and God’s name will be glorified in all in Jesus’ mighty name, Amen.
Faith On The Road has been our focus. Jairus was waiting with hope and encouragement when the woman with the issue of blood received her healing without seeking Jesus’ permission. He must have celebrated with the hope that, “Yes, it’s my turn now, the Healer will heal my daughter.” But as they proceeded to his house a message came that “Thy daughter is dead: trouble not the Master.” Not only that, they instructed him, “Don’t disturb the Master because He can’t raise the dead.” That was a very challenging message to Jairus and a direct challenge to Jesus.
Listen to this: opposition increases because your answer is near. In relay races, when the race gets tougher it means you are getting closer to the finish line. To Jairus, it was the delay of the woman with the issue of blood, then came the news of his daughter's death. When opposition to your faith keeps increasing, all you need to do is hold on to Jesus because your answer is right at the corner. When it seems promotion has become unrealistic, that’s when you need to increase your faith, fight the battle most, and take your stand. Faith attracts opposition and challenges. If you can handle them, you will handle your faith. You’re closest to your answer when opposition is strongest.
Jesus replied to Jairus, “Fear not: believe only, and she shall be made whole.” Luke 8:50 KJV.
Jairus’s daughter was declared dead but Jesus said, “believe only and she shall be WHOLE,” meaning she’s not dead, she’s still sleeping. Mark 5:39 KJV.
Many times we conclude too soon that something is dead, it’s lost, we can’t regain it again, and it becomes established as we say it. I decree this morning: everything in your life that you or men have concluded is gone and can’t be recovered again, they are restored to life in Jesus’ name, Amen. What you thought was lost, Heaven is restoring back because of your faith in Jesus’ mighty name, Amen. I speak with faith as Jesus says, “Fear not: only believe, and your pains, losses, marriage, child, business, ministry shall be made whole in Jesus’ name, Amen.
Don’t quit when opposition rises — it’s a sign your answer is close. Don’t give up because of the toughness, you are getting closer. Keep the faith alive. Jesus is backing you up, He is on the way with you and will never leave you. Opposition is proof that it’s possible to achieve those dreams of yours.
God bless you and good morning.
