TOPIC: NEGATIVE SPOKEN WORDS: Power Of the Word (2)

One Year Bible Reading:
Psalm 49 - 51
Romans 5: 1 - 11

MEMORY VERSE:
Luke 21:15.
"For I will give you a mouth and wisdom, which all your adversaries shall not be able to gainsay nor resist."

BIBLE READING:
Psalms 107:19-20
“Then they cry unto the LORD in their trouble, and he saveth them out of their distresses.
He sent his word, and healed them, and delivered them from their destructions.”

Thinking Point:
Studying the Word of God breaks every negative spell and spoken word.

The Word of God that breaks the cedar trees shall break every spoken word controlling our lives and destiny, in Jesus’ mighty name, Amen.

Many frustrations today are a result of spoken words from hurting hearts. Some have done evil or destroyed other lives due to their past way of life. They've done acts they are not proud of and words were released against them.

Words from a hurting spouse, past relationship, from boss to subordinate, from landlord to tenants, even from servant to master. They are words spoken from deep pain, and those declarations take root and control destinies.

I stand in the gap this morning: every negative word spoken against you and I, either lawfully or unlawfully, the power of the Word of God is breaking them to pieces, in Jesus’ mighty name, Amen.

Yesterday, we discussed identifying the source of the spoken word and praying concerning them. Today, by declaring what the Word of the Lord says, we can overcome negative words. We need to discover ourselves from the Word of God, not from negative spoken words. How?

First, seek God’s forgiveness for every wrong done, every hurt against others, before going to Scripture. Many have prayed, fasted and waited upon the Lord but never confessed their wrongs. Confess and renounce your wrongdoing. Be remorseful for your past acts so God can wash your past with His blood.

Then, locate what the Word of God has declared about you, not what men have spoken concerning you. The Word of God says:

“Shall the prey be taken from the mighty, or the lawful captive delivered?
But thus saith the LORD, Even the captives of the mighty shall be taken away, and the prey of the terrible shall be delivered: for I will contend with him that contendeth with thee, and I will save thy children.” - Isaiah 49:24-25.

No matter the spoken words against our lives, when we come to God, confess our negative past, forsake and renounce them, whether lawfully or unlawfully captive, His Word is powerful enough to break us free.

When the Israelites cried out to God after disobedience to His Word, He delivered them and restored all their losses through His Word. Psalm 107:20

Search the Word of God concerning your life and begin to declare it:

“For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.” - Hebrews 4:12

The Word of God can undo every wrong. It has the power to dissolve any word and act against our lives. Go to Scripture, identify what God is saying, and replace it with what men have pronounced against your life. You shall be delivered from negative words.

You are free from negative spoken words from today onward. Your life is taking a new shape, in Jesus’ mighty name, Amen.

God bless you and Good Morning.
