Oluboye Emmanuel Ministry© Mobile Daily Devotional Week 30, Day 3, Tuesday, 21st July 2026 TOPIC: THE FRUIT OF THE SPIRIT: Joy (2)
TOPIC: THE FRUIT OF THE SPIRIT: Joy (2)
One Year Bible Reading:
Psalm 21 - 22
Acts 27: 1 - 26
MEMORY VERSE:
Galatians 5:22-23.
_”But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith,
Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.”_ KJV
BIBLE READING:
Psalms 16:11.
_“Thou wilt shew me the path of life: in thy presence is fulness of joy; at thy right hand there are pleasures for evermore.”_
Thinking Point:
The second character of the Spirit is JOY. The giver of strength.
Today, the Holy Spirit will replace every sorrow, sadness, and bitterness with the joy of the Spirit. No more depression, no more rejection. It shall be Joy in the Holy Ghost in Jesus' mighty name, Amen.
_“For the kingdom of God is not meat and drink; but righteousness, and peace, and joy in the Holy Ghost.”_ Romans 14:17 KJV
The second character of the Holy Spirit is Joy. Apostle Paul said, the Kingdom of God is all about righteousness, peace, and joy in the Holy Ghost. The source of joy is the Holy Spirit.
When you see people joyful without physical or material blessings, that is joy flowing from within. Joy is not happiness because of things. Joy is strength in the storm. _“...for the joy of the LORD is your strength.”_ Nehemiah 8:10 KJV
Joy is an inflow from the Holy Spirit within us. You don't fake it, it is produced by the Holy Spirit. Sometimes you just feel happy, excited without having a particular reason. That is the joy of the Holy Ghost. It smiles in the face of opposition. It supersedes what is happening within and without.
When the fruit of joy is growing, your face will announce that God is with you.
The Holy Spirit teaches and helps us to live in joy even when circumstances say otherwise. Joy is a fruit that keeps you standing when the road is tough.
David said, _“in thy presence is fullness of joy”_ Psalm 16:11 KJV. Wherever the presence of the Holy Spirit is, joy — His fruit — will be visible. Joy supersedes sadness, bitterness, and sorrow. It glides over situations. It keeps one moving when all things seem stagnant.
Prayer:
Father, release the joy of the Holy Spirit that cannot be taken away, in Jesus’ mighty name, Amen.
See you tomorrow for the next character of the Holy Spirit.
God bless you and Good Morning.
