Oluboye Emmanuel Ministry© Mobile Daily Devotional Week 35, Day 7, Saturday, 29th August 2026 TOPIC: VISION AND PROVISION (14): Provision Needs Your Attention.

TOPIC: VISION AND PROVISION (14): Provision Needs Your Attention.

One Year Bible Reading:
Proverbs 1- 2
1 Corinthians 13

MEMORY VERSE:
Habakkuk 2:2.
“And the LORD answered me, and said, Write the vision, and make it plain upon tables, that he may run that readeth it.”

BIBLE READING:
1 Kings 17:20-22.
"And he cried unto the LORD, and said, O LORD my God, hast thou also brought evil upon the widow with whom I sojourn, by slaying her son?
And he stretched himself upon the child three times, and cried unto the LORD, and said, O LORD my God, I pray thee, let this child's soul come into him again.
And the LORD heard the voice of Elijah; and the soul of the child came into him again, and he revived."

Thinking Point:
Every human provision needs to be taken care of. Never look down on them.

By the power in the Name of Jesus, we shall not be put to shame. An end has come to disgrace, no more reproach, because God is changing our address, in Jesus’ Mighty Name, Amen.

I want to bless God for the revelation He has released through this series “Vision and Provision” upon everyone who has followed through. I believe we will utilize every provision available to us rightly.

God gives Vision and the Provision needed for the assignment. Likewise, He puts the solutions of those provisions in your hands too.

When God sends you on an errand, everyone and every tool God uses for you also needs to be serviced by you — not until they ask for it. Your provisions, whether men or resources, are not meant to be used by you without you being a provision to them. God created us for one another. Every tool also expects/depends on you to fulfill their vision.

Elijah was taken care of by the widow and her son. — 1 Kings 17:9-16
One day the child died and Elijah needed to pay back what the mother had done. In this case, the widow made the request. 1 Kings 17:17-22.
Elijah stepped in to meet her deepest need.

Elisha also enjoyed provision for his vision through the Shunammite woman. 2 Kings 4:8-10
But in her case, it was Elisha who asked and met her real need — a child. 2 Kings 4:14-16
He didn’t wait for her to ask.

We don’t need to see our helpers — God-given provision — going through difficulties before we help. We need to care for them because if we don't, they can stop being the provision they are meant to be.

Get this right: You are also their provision.
We have the vision. They are the provision for the fulfillment of our vision. Therefore, for them to function rightly and healthily, they need our support too. We are the provision that God has made available for them.

If they are working with you, they need to be blessed through you. I’m not just talking about payment, but also bonuses, incentives, honor, and care.

The fact that many respect and honor you, listening to and obeying our commands, doesn’t mean they don’t need our attention. As they attend to us, we should also attend to them. When we attend to them, we are also filling a vacuum of provision in their lives. “The worker deserves his wages” — 1 Timothy 5:18

Let’s be givers, not just receivers. Let’s be maintainers, not just users.
May God give us a heart to recognize, appreciate, and sustain every provision He brings our way, in Jesus’ Mighty Name, Amen.

God bless you and Good Morning.
