TOPIC: VISION AND PROVISION: Provision Are Timely 8

One Year Bible Reading:
Psalm 120 - 127
1 Corinthians 8

MEMORY VERSE:
Habakkuk 2:2.
“And the LORD answered me, and said, Write the vision, and make it plain upon tables, that he may run that readeth it.”

BIBLE READING:
1 Kings 17:2-6.
"2. And the word of the LORD came unto him, saying,
3. Get thee hence, and turn thee eastward, and hide thyself by the brook Cherith, that is before Jordan.
4. And it shall be, that thou shalt drink of the brook; and I have commanded the ravens to feed thee there.
5. So he went and did according unto the word of the LORD: for he went and dwelt by the brook Cherith, that is before Jordan.
6. And the ravens brought him bread and flesh in the morning, and bread and flesh in the evening; and he drank of the brook.

Thinking Point:
God's Provision For Every Vision Is Timely And Varies At Every Point In Time

It's a wonderful Sunday, filled with the Joy of the Lord. This week, our joy will know no bounds. It shall be contagious for others. We will be joy spreaders and problem solvers by the power of God in us, in Jesus’ Mighty Name, Amen.

Over a week ago we saw that there is a Godly vision and every Godly vision has an assigned provision attached to it.
Also, we discovered that God won't send you on an errand without equipping you.
We also discussed that provisions for vision are in different forms: “Human Provision, Skill/Tools Provision, and God Himself going with us.”

Today, we move forward to say: Godly provisions are timely and can be missed. Don't be surprised. God gives vision, makes provision available for its fulfillment, but those provisions have a time frame.
One of the reasons we suffer while running God’s vision is missing the timely provision.

When you refuse to utilize the human provision — by looking down on them, writing them off, misusing them, or not recognizing them — you are on the verge of losing the provision.

For instance, God instructed Elijah to change location after his declaration of famine in the land. God instantly made provision for Elijah: “Get thee hence, and turn thee eastward, and hide thyself by the brook Cherith...” — 1 Kings 17:3

If Elijah had believed otherwise that God could provide for him in the city and refused to go to the brook, he would have missed the provision that was made available.

If Elijah had looked down on the raven bird because of its size and had not appreciated it, he would have suffered the consequences of famine in the land.
“And the ravens brought him bread and flesh in the morning, and bread and flesh in the evening...” — 1 Kings 17:6

But Elijah received the instruction of God — the third provision — and moved to the designated location to enjoy the provision made available for him, regardless of a raven bird being the provider of his meal.

Many of us, through pride, ego, and hatred, have refused our provision because of a person’s personality, gender, or size, and missed our Godly provision.
Some, through disobedience and arrogance, missed their provision. 1 Samuel 15:23. Some missed theirs because of the hurt they’ve caused others in time past. The fear of facing their available provision makes them stranded.

Hope you have recognized your vision and its provision? Do you appreciate it and utilize it? They are timely and can be missed.

Go after that provision and stop looking down on it. Activate your provision before it's too late.

God bless you and Good Morning.
