Thinking Point:
Godly Vision Attracts God's Presence As Part Of The Provision
Happy weekend to everyone. As we take out time to rest and relax, our strength will be renewed, we will gain more insight and fresh directives from God, in Jesus’ Mighty Name, Amen.
We have made mention of two provisions of God that accompany godly vision, which are: “Human Support and Vision Instruments — Gifts.”
We are considering the greatest provision of all which is "The Presence Of God With Us - God leading the way and giving us instructions every moment.
This is what we must know: God knows we can’t make the journey on our own. He knew we don’t even know the routes to the vision He’s giving us. But His presence is the only strength that will make all journeys easier.
1. Jesus’ Promise to the Disciples
When Jesus gave the Great Commission to His disciples in the book of Matthew, He said before departing:
“Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen.” — Matthew 28:20
No matter the situation along the route, He is with us. Come rain, come sunshine, He will never leave nor forsake us, except we forsake Him. — Hebrews 13:5
2. God’s Promise to Moses
He told Moses:
“And He said, Certainly I will be with thee; and this shall be a token unto thee, that I have sent thee...” — Exodus 3:12
In other words: My presence will go with you. You are not doing it alone. — Exodus 33:14
Every vision needs God Himself to be fulfilled. Without God’s guidance, breakdown and frustration are inevitable.
Many accept their visions and do it their own way — running it with human support and gifts alone, leaving God the Giver of the vision behind. It can’t work that way. God’s presence should be sought for any vision to be fulfilled.
3. God Was With Joseph
When Joseph was in a foreign land, God was always with him. In Potiphar’s house, God was with him — Genesis 39:2. In the prison, He was with him — Genesis 39:21, 23. Even in the palace.
Likewise, He is standing right beside us as we journey. Challenges and oppositions are not proof that God has forsaken us. No, they are reasons to search for His face and seek His counsel consistently.
God is saying to us today that He Is With Us as we run with that vision. He’s by our side as the Man of War — Exodus 15:3, the pillar of fire and pillar of cloud, both day and night — Exodus 13:21-22.
Just give Him a call when the road seems dark and rough, He will reveal Himself to you.
It’s not our vision, it’s His. So He wouldn’t let us do it alone. He is saying to us this morning:
“...lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen.” — Matthew 28:20
God bless you and Good Morning.
