1 Corinthians 6
MEMORY VERSE:
Habakkuk 2:2.
“And the LORD answered me, and said, Write the vision, and make it plain upon tables, that he may run that readeth it.”
BIBLE READING:
Exodus 4:1-4.
"1. And Moses answered and said, But, behold, they will not believe me, nor hearken unto my voice: for they will say, The LORD hath not appeared unto thee.
2. And the LORD said unto him, What is that in thine hand? And he said, A rod.
3. And he said, Cast it on the ground. And he cast it on the ground, and it became a serpent; and Moses fled from before it.
4. And the LORD said unto Moses, Put forth thine hand, and take it by the tail. And he put forth his hand, and caught it, and it became a rod in his hand:
Thinking Point:
Every Vision Has A Provision Of Instruments Given By God. Locate Your God-Given Instrument.
The blessing of the Lord goes with us, meets all our needs and makes us a blessing to others today, in Jesus’ Blessed Name, Amen.
Provision and vision is what we are still discussing. We have laid the foundation that God will never give you a vision without the provision to function.
The first provision we discussed yesterday was “Human Provision” — the supporting hands for your vision.
The Second Provision God makes available for His vision is “Instruments for the Vision” — yes, working tools to use in accomplishing the vision.
These tools stand as the anointing to function. They are the tools to work miracles and achieve the vision ahead of you.
God won’t send you on a mission empty-handed. He’ll make provisions for the assignment. These tools differentiate you on the field. Example of those with “Instrument for their vision”
1. Moses and the Rod
God turned Moses’ shepherd’s rod into an instrument for His vision. — Exodus 4:2-4, 17
He also turned Moses’ hands into an instrument to perform miracles on the mission. — Exodus 4:6-7
Moses had that rod with him for over forty years not knowing what it could do, until God commissioned him.
2. David and the Sling
David was endowed with the use of a sling. When King Saul offered him armor, David said:
“I cannot go with these, for I have not proved them...” — 1 Samuel 17:39
“...The LORD that delivered me out of the paw of the lion... He will deliver me out of the hand of this Philistine.” — 1 Samuel 17:37
He functioned rightly with his own tools.
3. Joseph and His Gift
Joseph’s instrument was his ability to care for others, and his gift of interpreting dreams — even in the prison. — Genesis 40:8
“Do not interpretations belong to God?” — Genesis 40:8
You are not empty as long as you are a vision carrier. He has endowed us with the needed instruments to carry out our mission.
Until God commissions you for your vision, you may not identify the provision available. Moses even forgot about his brother Aaron in Egypt until God called him and instructed him, Exodus 4:14-15
The rod of Moses wrought miracles in the land of Egypt, parted the Red Sea — Exodus 14:16, and brought water out of the rock — Exodus 17:5-6.
What is your vision instrument?
We all need to identify it so the vision will be accomplished using the right tools.
Locate it, or ask God for those tools for the vision, and you will end up running the vision rightly.
God bless you and Good Morning.
