TOPIC: LET US PRAY: Let My Lot Be Released (4)

MEMORY VERSE:
1 Thessalonians 5:17.
Pray without ceasing.

BIBLE READING:
Psalms 125:3-4.
"3. For the rod of the wicked shall not rest upon the lot of the righteous; lest the righteous put forth their hands unto iniquity."
"4. Do good, O LORD, unto those that be good, and to them that are upright in their hearts."

Thinking Point:
It's a reproach for the righteous to be at the mercy of the wicked. The godly should not be tempted to do evil.

We shall be free from the wickedness of the wicked, their weapon shall be void over our lives in Jesus name, Amen.
When the wicked rejoice over the righteous it doesn't bring glory to God, it doesn't prove the mightiness of our God. 

David said, 
Psalms 25:1-3
"1. Unto thee, O LORD, do I lift up my soul."
"2. O my God, I trust in thee: let me not be ashamed, let not mine enemies triumph over me."
"3. Yea, let none that wait on thee be ashamed: let them be ashamed which transgress without cause."

It's our right to cry to God to deliver us from the reproach and mockery of our enemy. When the wicked is in charge of the affairs of the righteous, the righteous may be tempted to do wickedness, to seek revenge and may offend God. When your properties or resources become a devourer it's abnormal. When sickness troubles our health it's a reproach. The righteous need to cry out to God for intervention.

Father, put an end to all activities of the wicked over my life. Let my life attract others for your glory. Let the lot of the wicked not rest on my lot anymore, in Jesus mighty name, Amen.
