Mobile Daily Devotional with Pst. Oluboye Emmanuel Week 46, Day 2, Monday, 11th November 2024 TOPIC: Studying John 6:1-15. He Cares For Those Who Follow Him (2)

TOPIC: Studying John 6:1-15. He Cares For Those Who Follow Him (2)

MEMORY VERSE:
John 6:6.
"6. And this he said to prove him: for he himself knew what he would do."

BIBLE READING:
John 6:5.
"5. When Jesus then lifted up his eyes, and saw a great company come unto him, he saith unto Philip, Whence shall we buy bread, that these may eat?"

Thinking Point:
Out of sight is out of mind. God attends to those who follow Him first before others.

It's a wonderful week for us, our work shall profit and enlarge us this week, our going out and coming in is blessed in Jesus' Mighty Name, Amen.
We established the fact that, following Jesus in this generation shouldn't be for miracles and blessings only, but following the saviour who knows us beyond our knowledge. Today, our study is on what we enjoy by following Him? Firstly, we enjoy His care in every area of our lives. Yes, not just spiritual area, I mean including our feeding, drinking, clothing and resources, yours will not be denied in Jesus' name, Amen.

When Jesus saw the crowd following Him while He sat on the mountain, the next thought on His mind was "These people must be hungry, how do I feed them?" May I tell you this morning, that your followership of Jesus doesn't mean He only cares about your spiritual well being alone, He also cares for those things that will encourage you, strengthen and uplift you as well. Get this, the multitude didn't ask Him for food, He raised the issue about feeding. He knows what you need before you place the request and He is already working on it. You might not have it now but beloved, you will surely get it when you need it the most. As He asked one of his disciples, He is also consulting those to meet your need presently, "Whence shall we buy bread, that these may eat?"

Jesus is working behind the scenes of our lives, don't give up too early. He has you in mind as He has me in mind. We are not following Him like the other crowd for miracles but as a saviour and he will never put us to shame. Take a deep breath this morning and say this with confidence,
"Lord Jesus, I believe you are aware of my present needs and situation, and I know you are working on my case, thank you for your care, In Jesus' Mighty name I Pray, Amen".
Put those worries aside and enjoy your week, for the one who knows your needs is in charge.

Good Morning and God bless you.
