Mobile Daily Devotional with Pst. Oluboye Emmanuel Week 46, Day 3, Tuesday, 12th November 2024 TOPIC: Studying John 6:1-15. God Knows what to do about our issues (3)

TOPIC: Studying John 6:1-15. God Knows what to do about our issues (3)

MEMORY VERSE:
John 6:6.
"6. And this he said to prove him: for he himself knew what he would do."

BIBLE READING:
John 6:5 -6.
"5. When Jesus then lifted up his eyes, and saw a great company come unto him, he saith unto Philip, "Whence shall we buy bread, that these may eat?"
"6. And this he said to prove him: for he himself knew what he would do."

Thinking Point:
Our God is all knowing who knows the way out of all predicaments and also knows when to act on our behalf.

This Lord bless and favour us with the needed help of heaven today, in Jesus' Mighty name Amen.
Beloved, the Lord is not clueless about what we are going through in life. He is aware, like Panam Percy Paul's song which says, "He Knows, He See, He Feel what you Feel, He is the one who cares for you." Not that He knows alone, He also knows the way out of that situation. Most times, we refuse to be attentive to His instructions and guidance. We choose to do things in our own way without involving Him in our decisions. Sometimes we remain in our situations because of our complaints and grumbling, which makes it difficult for us to listen to what He is saying. Another reason may be as a result of disobedience to past instructions of God, in order words, when we refuse to listen to Him we find ourselves being distanced from Him, which brings separation.

The scripture said, "For He Himself Knew What He Would Do". Many times our responses to Him limit His actions. God knew what to do for Abraham to have a child early in life but Abraham's decisions prolonged God's promises. For God to do what He will achieve in our lives, we need to give Him the wheel of our lives. We need to surrender our decisions to Him totally to run it the way that best suits Him. He was only asking Philip on how to feed the five thousand plus people. He knows how the provision will be met, likewise, He knows the way out on our complicated issues but most times those ways out seem reproaching and unacceptable to us. Being too smart and thinking ahead sometimes takes us away from God's purpose and intention for our lives. He knows what to do to make things easier for us but are we ready to do things in His own way?

Father, I'm aware you know all that is happening around my life, you have the solution in your hands. Lord, I'm ready to do as you say, speak to me in a way I will understand, In Jesus' Mighty Name, Amen.

Good Morning and God bless you.
