TOPIC: UNUSUAL ACTS OF GOD: Meant To Draw Men To God (3)
MEMORY VERSE:
Ephesians 3:20.
"20. Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us".
BIBLE READING:
Daniel 2:19, 22-23.
"19. Then was the secret revealed unto Daniel in a night vision. Then Daniel blessed the God of heaven."
"22. He revealeth the deep and secret things: he knoweth what is in the darkness, and the light dwelleth with him."
"23. I thank thee, and praise thee, O thou God of my fathers, who hast given me wisdom and might, and hast made known unto me now what we desired of thee: for thou hast now made known unto us the king's matter."
Thinking Point:
The Act of God is meant for the loyal children of God not for everyone called Christian, and also meant to draw men to God.
May our position in God not be empty or void in Jesus' Mighty name, Amen.
The act of God can be likened to the move of God which proves God can do the unusual on behalf of His children. For God's act to be experienced, one's level with God must be outstanding and diligent. For His acts are always unique and this can only be done for God to prove His mightiness concerning His children.
In our study today, King Nebuchadnezzar had a dream and couldn't remember anything of it. He called all his magicians, sorcerers and astrologians but none was able to decide what the King's dream was. So, the king made a decree that all should be killed. How can one know the dream of another one else when he wasn't part of the dream? When such case present itself within the circle of believers, it's a sign that God want to show His mighty act. Daniel heard of the incident and called in His friends to seek the face of God concerning the matter. God, who was so committed to the four hebrew boys, showed His act by revealing the dream and the interpretation to Daniel, it's an Act of God which can't be experience always. Daniel and his friend's outstanding walk with God was the reason behind this act of God. The act of God towards the Hebrew boys won the heart of the King and also saved the lives of the magicians and astrologians. The King couldn't resist the act than to worship the God of the four Hebrew boys. Can our walk with God attract such acts of God? Are we prepared daily to make God's act known to the world? God is willing to show His act through us, but are we ready to showcase His act? To that Boss of ours that seems too difficult to please, all we need is the act of God. In that marriage that looks like hell, the act of God can make it a heaven on earth, but we need to be outstanding in our walk with God.
