TOPIC: IN THE BEGINNING: SERIES 2: There shall Be No Shame (23)

ONE YEAR BIBLE READING
Exodus 6 - 7
Matthew 16: 13 - 17: 1 - 13

MEMORY VERSE:
Gen. 1:1
"1. In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth."

BIBLE READING:
Genesis 2:25.
"25. And they were both naked, the man and his wife, and were not ashamed."

Thinking Point:
Everything God created has nothing to do with shame because we are to bring Him praise, for we are His image.

Beloved of God, we are created to show forth the glory and the praise of God wherever we are. David speaking in Psalms 139:14, saying,
"14. I will praise thee; for I am fearfully and wonderfully made: marvellous are thy works; and that my soul knoweth right well."

At creation, God created us to look like, be like and think like Him. We are wonderfully made, meaning we are consciously made by God, so nothing should link us with shame, reproach or mockery, yes we are not created to experience it. 
The scripture says, "And they were both naked, the man and his wife, and were not ashamed." 

When we are with the Dust (right partner) whom God intended for us, shame will never be ours. When we obey God's instructions to the latter, we will never know shame, this is the will of God. When the first dust God created were obedient, they weren't ashamed even in their nakedness, they were free, not looking for any coverage, but when they sinned by disobeying God's laid down rules, shame became vivid upon them, this is my prayer today, every reason for shame in our lives will be taken care of in the name of Jesus. He will turn every shame to double honour this new year, that situation that is bringing ridicule upon you, this day, the Lord intervenes and settles them in Jesus Mighty name, Amen.

"And they were both naked, the man and his wife, and were not ashamed."
This shall be our portion from today on. We are not meant to live or walk in shame, shame is coming to an end in our lives in Jesus name, Amen.
