"30. Moreover whom he did predestinate, them he also called: and whom he called, them he also justified: and whom he justified, them he also glorified."
BIBLE READING:
Exodus 3:11.
"11. And Moses said unto God, Who am I, that I should go unto Pharaoh, and that I should bring forth the children of Israel out of Egypt?"
Thinking Point:
We don't always see what God sees in us before calling us. We see our incapabilities while He sees our abilities.
Weaknesses are what weigh us down, bring discouragement and set inferiority in place in our lives. The way we see ourselves goes a long way to determine who we become and how far we go in life. Putting that in mind, that's not what God sees in us. Hear me out, no human created is without a weakness, deficiency, or imperfection and this is known to God, and He doesn't focus on our deficiencies that is why the scripture says,
"27. But God hath chosen the foolish things of the world to confound the wise; and God hath chosen the weak things of the world to confound the things which are mighty;"
"28. And base things of the world, and things which are despised, hath God chosen, yea, and things which are not, to bring to nought things that are: 1 Corinthians 1:27-28.
God delights in those written off, persons with deficiency than that which thought he's wise, wealthy and knows all. You are not useless such that God can't function through you. I'm not that bad such that God will reject me outrightly, No, He focuses on His capabilities in us as we focus on our deficiencies.
Moses said to God, why me? Knowing he was a wanted man in Egypt, a runaway, a murderer being searched for. Who am I to go and stand before Pharaoh and speak about freedom for the Israelite. Is that not what we all complained about? We look down on ourselves that we aren't fit for that God which is calling us into. If you hear Him call, that means you are qualified to do what He wants you to do. Your look, pocket and past doesn't disqualify you from doing God's will. It's time to pick up that assignment and start running with it. You are a battle axe in His hand, don't be distracted by what you think you can't do.
