Oluboye Emmanuel Ministry© Mobile Daily Devotional Week 25, Day 4, Wednesday, 17th June 2026 TOPIC: Faith Doesn't Quit (14)

TOPIC: Faith Doesn't Quit (14)

One Year Bible Reading:
2 Chronicles 29 - 30
Acts 7: 1 - 53

MEMORY VERSE:
Hebrews 11:1.
"Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen."

BIBLE READING:
Hebrews 11:40.
“God having provided some better thing for us, that they without us should not be made perfect.”

Thinking Point:
Faith doesn’t quit until substance is visible for all to see.

This morning, I pray with you: your faith will not fail. You will not quit nor give up on your faith. Every distraction will succumb to the power of God in your life and situation, in Jesus’ mighty name, Amen.

Today, being the last in our series on Faith, we shall focus on “Faith Doesn’t Quit”. Yes, faith doesn’t give up. It keeps hoping, keeps moving, keeps trying until the result becomes a reality. It took Father Abraham 25 years before his faith became reality about a child. Till he died he never saw the multitude of descendants God promised, but he kept believing. Today, it’s more than a promise—it’s a reality.

Isaac, Abraham’s son, applied faith when he was digging wells. In Genesis 26:17-22, we see how Isaac kept digging the wells his father had dug before his death that the Philistines of Gerar had filled with earth. He dug and found water twice with strife, but the third well had no strife. Faith does not stop until desires are fulfilled. Reasons to stop will be visible—through men, lack of resources, weariness, and confusion—but faith keeps moving until the walls give way.

Jairus, the synagogue ruler, had faith that Jesus could heal his daughter. In Luke 8:40-55, he went to Jesus, explained his situation, and Jesus said, “Let’s go there.” While on their way, the woman with the issue of blood distracted Jesus with her great faith, causing a delay for Jairus’ daughter’s healing. When Jesus finished with her, news came that Jairus’ daughter was already dead. But Jesus responded to Jairus’ faith: “But when Jesus heard it, He answered him, saying, Fear not: believe only, and she shall be made whole.” Luke 8:50.

Jairus’ faith came back to life. He never argued with Jesus nor complained about the delay with the woman of the issue of blood. His faith remained intact, and he led Jesus to his home. That faith became proof when the dead child came back to life.

I don’t know what you’ve been having faith for—that result, that restoration of marriage, that promotion you deserved but were denied. I decree now: let the angels of Heaven bring your faith to reality, in Jesus’ mighty name, Amen. Your faith for the fruit of the womb will become a substance for the world to see, in Jesus’ name, Amen. I decree this morning that faith for the healing of insanity becomes a testimony in that child’s life, in Jesus’ name, Amen. Your faith will not fail you. My faith will not fail me. We will not quit before our results, in Jesus’ name, Amen.

God Bless you and Good Morning.
