Oluboye Emmanuel Ministry Mobile Daily Devotional Week 30, Day 3, Tuesday, 22nd July, 2025 TOPIC: NEW CREATION TOOL: Avoid Lies (3)

Image
TOPIC: NEW CREATION TOOL: Avoid Lies (3) One Year Bible Reading:  Psalms 23 - 25, Acts 27: 27 - 44. MEMORY VERSE: 2 Corinthians 5:17 17 This means that anyone who belongs to Christ has become a new person. The old life is gone; a new life has begun! BIBLE READING: Ephesians 4:25 "25. So stop telling lies. Let us tell our neighbors the truth, for we are all parts of the same body." Thinking Point: As small as every lie is, it has its consequences. Liars imitate the devil. I know the first question in your mind is, "is it possible not to lie? Can one do without telling lies?" Either we love to hear this or not, lying is a sin as long as God is not interested in it. Most times we think lies make us smarter not knowing we just implicated ourselves against the future. Yes, lies save you from immediate issues but stains your integrity. The secret not to lie is not to start telling lies because you will need another lie to cover the first lie which then becomes...

Oluboye Emmanuel Ministry Mobile Daily Devotional Week 30, Day 2, Monday, 21st July, 2025 TOPIC: NEW CREATION TOOL: Holiness and Righteousness (2)

Image
TOPIC: NEW CREATION TOOL: Holiness and Righteousness (2) One Year Bible Reading:  Psalms 21 - 22, Acts 27:1 - 26. MEMORY VERSE: 2 Corinthians 5:17 17 This means that anyone who belongs to Christ has become a new person. The old life is gone; a new life has begun! BIBLE READING: Ephesians 4:24 "24. Put on your new nature, created to be like God—truly righteous and holy." Thinking Point: Being a new creature is to live as Christ by living a truly righteous and holy life. Yesterday we focused on our thoughts being renewed, thinking rightly. Today, Apostle Paul is saying we live and act right as a new creature. Being a Christian we need to live as God lives, think and talk. Jesus became our role model on how to be like God. We are called into being like God. How can this be? Apostle Peter said, "15. But as he which hath called you is holy, so be ye holy in all manner of conversation;" 1 Peter 1:15. We need to be a new creature by being Holy as the one who ca...

Oluboye Emmanuel Ministry Mobile Daily Devotional Week 30, Day 1, Sunday, 20th July, 2025 TOPIC: NEW CREATION TOOL: Our Thought (1)

Image
TOPIC: NEW CREATION TOOL: Our Thought (1) One Year Bible Reading:  Psalms 19 - 20, Acts 26:19 - 32. MEMORY VERSE: 2 Corinthians 5:17 17 This means that anyone who belongs to Christ has become a new person. The old life is gone; a new life has begun! BIBLE READING: Ephesians 4:23 23 Instead, let the Spirit renew your thoughts and attitudes. (NLT) Thinking Point: The first difference between being a believer and an unbeliever is our thought. As believers, what makes the difference is what goes on in our heart spontaneously and consistency. How we act on what we think goes a long way to prove if we are believers or living as unbelievers. Apostle Paul was so interested in our thoughts to the extent of appealing to us in Romans 12: 2 say, "2. And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God." Let's get this straight, he wasn't speaking to the unb...

TOPIC: BE STILL: Remember His Promises (7) One Year Bible Reading:  Psalms 17 - 18, Acts 26:2 - 18. MEMORY VERSE: John 14:1 "1. Don’t let your hearts be troubled. Trust in God, and trust also in me." BIBLE READING: Psalms 121:1-8. "1. I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills, from whence cometh my help. 2. My help cometh from the LORD, which made heaven and earth. 3. He will not suffer thy foot to be moved: he that keepeth thee will not slumber. 4. Behold, he that keepeth Israel shall neither slumber nor sleep. 5. The LORD is thy keeper: the LORD is thy shade upon thy right hand. 6. The sun shall not smite thee by day, nor the moon by night. 7. The LORD shall preserve thee from all evil: he shall preserve thy soul. 8. The LORD shall preserve thy going out and thy coming in from this time forth, and even for evermore." Thinking Point: To Be Still means remembering the promises of God to you. Happy weekend to everyone who has been following us this week, ma...

Oluboye Emmanuel Ministry Mobile Daily Devotional Week 29, Day 6, Friday, 18th July, 2025 TOPIC: BE STILL: Waiting On God (6)

Image
TOPIC: BE STILL: Waiting On God (6) One Year Bible Reading:  Psalms 11 - 16, Acts 25: 13 - 26:1. MEMORY VERSE: John 14:1 "1. Don’t let your hearts be troubled. Trust in God, and trust also in me." BIBLE READING: Isaiah 40:31. "31. But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint." Thinking Point: Be Still means waiting on God. No one who waits on God ever regrets the decision. It's another Friday to the glory of God, awesome God has done us well, we ascribe all praises to Him in Jesus Name, Amen. What does 'Be Still' imply, waiting for God to respond through prayer and fasting. Being still is what we do when we don't know what else to do. It means relaxing your mind to know how God will do it. Prophet Habakkuk said in Habakkuk 2:1-2. "1. I will stand upon my watch, and set me upon the tower, and will watch to see...

Oluboye Emmanuel Ministry  Mobile Daily Devotional  Week 29, Day 5,  Thursday, 17th July, 2025  TOPIC: BE STILL: Give Him Praise (5) One Year Bible Reading:  Psalms 7 - 10, Acts 25: 1 - 12. MEMORY VERSE: John 14:1 "1. Don’t let your hearts be troubled. Trust in God, and trust also in me." BIBLE READING: 2 Chronicles 20:17, 21. "17. Ye shall not need to fight in this battle: set yourselves, stand ye still, and see the salvation of the LORD with you, O Judah and Jerusalem: fear not, nor be dismayed; to morrow go out against them: for the LORD will be with you. ... 21. And when he had consulted with the people, he appointed singers unto the LORD, and that should praise the beauty of holiness, as they went out before the army, and to say, Praise the LORD; for his mercy endureth for ever." Thinking Point: Be Still also means to give God thanks for what He will do. Grace is speaking for you in the midst of all opposition in Jesus' name, Amen. When the word...

Oluboye Emmanuel Ministry Mobile Daily Devotional Week 29, Day 4, Wednesday, 16th July, 2025 TOPIC: BE STILL: He Is Fighting Our Battle (4)

Image
TOPIC: BE STILL: He Is Fighting Our Battle (4) One Year Bible Reading:  Psalms 1 - 6, Acts 24: 1 - 47. MEMORY VERSE: John 14:1 "1. Don’t let your hearts be troubled. Trust in God, and trust also in me." BIBLE READING: Exodus 14:13-14. "13. And Moses said unto the people, Fear ye not, stand still, and see the salvation of the LORD, which he will shew to you to day: for the Egyptians whom ye have seen to day, ye shall see them again no more for ever. 14. The LORD shall fight for you, and ye shall hold your peace." Thinking Point: Be Still means God is fighting our battles without our input. One of the reasons why believers should be disturbed in life should be when our battle becomes tougher than the God we serve. When our challenges and situations become severe that none could survive, then we should be disturbed. But when our lives become stormy, stagnated, mockery and feel rejected, we can look up to God and say, 'Father, I handover to you, I am he...

TOPIC: BE STILL: He's Over All (3) One Year Bible Reading:  Job 40 - 42, Acts 23: 12 - 35. MEMORY VERSE: John 14:1 "1. Don’t let your hearts be troubled. Trust in God, and trust also in me." BIBLE READING: Psalms 46:10 "10. Be still, and know that I am God: I will be exalted among the heathen, I will be exalted in the earth." Thinking Point: Be still means God is over the heavens and the earth, including that present situation. Let's sing this song by Don Moen - Be Still Lead 1. "Hide me now Under Your wings Cover me Within Your mighty hand Cho. 'Cause when the oceans rise and thunders roar I will soar with You above the storm Father, You are King over the flood And I will be still and know You are God Lead 2. When thou passest through the waters, I will be with thee; and through the rivers, they shall not overflow thee: when thou walkest through the fire, thou shalt not be burned; neither shall the flame kindle upon thee." Thinking Point: Be still means, Don't allow fear from within you, you belong to God. Glory! May this week answer our doubt of God's work in Jesus name, favour as we step out today in search of our daily bread in Jesus name, Amen. Be still is the word of the Lord concerning us this week. Today, the word "Be still" simp...

Trust in God, and trust also in me." BIBLE READING: John 14:27. "27. Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid. Thinking Point: Be still means don't be troubled, trust in God. Hallelujah!  God has done it again. It's another beautiful week with testimonies all around us, victory in all endeavours and progress in all involvement in Jesus Mighty name, Amen. This week, God has sent me to tell you to learn to "Be Still" regardless of all situations we find ourselves in. Be still for God is in charge. Be still and trust the ability of God and not that of man. Be still because He knows more than we know and see. Be still and trust in God. To be still means to see les...

Oluboye Emmanuel Ministry Mobile Daily Devotional Week 28, Day 7, Saturday, 12th July, 2025 TOPIC: WHO IS A PREACHER? A Call To All (7)

Image
TOPIC: WHO IS A PREACHER? A Call To All (7) One Year Bible Reading:  Job 29 - 31, Acts 21: 17 - 36. MEMORY VERSE: Mark 16:15. "15. And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature." BIBLE READING: Matthew 28:18-20. "18. And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth. 19. Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: 20. Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen." Thinking Point: A call to Christianity is a call to preach the Gospel of Christ. Beloved, we give God the glory for another end of the week. God has been so faithful to us, we ascribed our praises to Him alone. Today, as we round up the topic on Who is a Preacher? It's my joy to let us know that we are all preachers, we are called to preach...

Oluboye Emmanuel Ministry Mobile Daily Devotional Week 28, Day 6, Friday, 11th July, 2025 TOPIC: WHO IS A PREACHER? Preaching Brings Healing (6)

TOPIC: WHO IS A PREACHER? Preaching Brings Healing (6) One Year Bible Reading:  Job 25 - 28, Acts 21: 1 - 16. MEMORY VERSE: Mark 16:15. "15. And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature." BIBLE READING: Luke 5:17. "17. And it came to pass on a certain day, AS HE WAS TEACHING, that there were Pharisees and doctors of the law sitting by, which were come out of every town of Galilee, and Judaea, and Jerusalem: AND THE POWER OF THE LORD WAS PRESENT TO HEAL THEM." Thinking Point: Preaching the word comes with power to heal the sick. Thank God it's another Friday, the last working day of the week. Welcome to a result-ful weekend in Jesus' name, Amen. Preaching, as we have been discussing, is not attributed to the fivefold ministry alone, it is meant for all believers. We are called into preaching Jesus in different ways and out of the pulpit. We realise that our place of work can also be our pulpit without us...

Oluboye Emmanuel Ministry Mobile Daily Devotional Week 28, Day 5, Thursday, 10th July, 2025 TOPIC: WHO IS A PREACHER? Your Hand Work (5)

TOPIC: WHO IS A PREACHER? Your Hand Work (5) One Year Bible Reading:  Job 22 - 24, Acts 20: 17 - 38. MEMORY VERSE: Mark 16:15. "15. And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature." BIBLE READING: Colossians 3:23-24. "23. And whatsoever ye do, do it heartily, as to the Lord, and not unto men; 24. Knowing that of the Lord ye shall receive the reward of the inheritance: for ye serve the Lord Christ." Thinking Point: Whatever you are doing is a platform to preach the Gospel. Beloved of God, the Lord is faithful to give us another wonderful day, to Him be the glory forever more. We have established the fact that, preaching is not meant for the Fivefold ministry nor ends at the pulpits. We are all called to preach. Today, we focus on preaching through the works of our hands. Many try to separate "church" from "work" not knowing that the church is a place where you learn how you behave in the workpla...

And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature." BIBLE READING: Matthew 5:16. "16. Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven." Thinking Point: One of the ways to preach the gospel of Christ is through our good works. A beautiful morning to you in Jesus name, Amen. Preaching may seem so difficult to many believers but that's not the truth, because when you understand what preaching is all about you will realise you've been preaching but the wrong message. Sometimes preaching may not involve an utterance or sound but action, and this goes a long way more than our words. There is a saying which says, "Action speaks louder than words" which is true. Your action to people around you spea...

The neighbours therefore, and they which before had seen him that he was blind, said, Is not this he that sat and begged? 9. Some said, This is he: others said, He is like him: but he said, I am he. 10. Therefore said they unto him, How were thine eyes opened? 11. He answered and said, A man that is called Jesus made clay, and anointed mine eyes, and said unto me, Go to the pool of Siloam, and wash: and I went and washed, and I received sight. Thinking Point: Everyone who has experienced the touch of God is a preacher, in order words, we are called preachers. What is preaching? Is the question before us today. Preaching is seen as standing by the pulpit and speaking from the Bible or going on what we call ...

But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth." Thinking Point: The empowerment of the Holy Spirit isn't for the Five Fold Ministry only but for all. Brethren, It is my prayer that this week will yield positively and wonderfully in all our endeavours, we will see God at work in our lives in Jesus name, Amen. We started this series, 'Who is a Preacher?' and pinpointed the fivefold ministries, but I made mention that the fivefold ministries are not the only preachers and I will be proofing this today. From our Bible passage today, Acts ...
