TOPIC: THE GLORY OF GOD: His Dwelling Place (6) One Year Bible Reading: Jeremiah 33 Philemon 1 : 1 - 25 MEMORY VERSE: Exodus 33:18 "18. And he said, I beseech thee, shew me thy glory. BIBLE READING:  Acts 7:55-56. "55. But he, being full of the Holy Ghost, looked up stedfastly into heaven, and saw the glory of God, and Jesus standing on the right hand of God, 56. And said, Behold, I see the heavens opened, and the Son of man standing on the right hand of God." Thinking Point: God's dwelling place is also the Glory of God. It's another weekend with God's Glory over us in Jesus'mighty name, Amen. We have been digging out what the glory of God means from the Bible. We are made to know that the personality of God is Glory. God is nothing less than a walking Glory because every part of Him reveals His glory. A carrier of fire can't dwell in water, nor be in a cold place, no, a carrier of fire will always dwell in fire. What am I saying, God of ...

May the Glory of God, in the form of His secret be unveiled to us today in Jesus' Mighty name, Amen. The secrets of God are His glory and this is meant for those whom He chooses to reveal it to. The secret things of God, deeper revelation, in depth insight are the mind of God which show forth His glory. In the book of Deuteronomy 29:29, the scripture says, "29. The secret things belong unto the LORD our God: but those things which are revealed belong unto us and to our children for ever, that we may do all the words of this law." The scripture is filled with those who had access to ...

There is no speech nor language, where their voice is not heard.' 4. Their line is gone out through all the earth, and their words to the end of the world. In them hath he set a tabernacle for the sun, 5. Which is as a bridegroom coming out of his chamber, and rejoiceth as a strong man to run a race." Thinking Point: The Act of God is the Glory of God.  The God of Glory is showing forth upon our lives from today on in Jesus' Mighty name, Amen. In this series, we have identified three definitions of the Glory of God which are; His Face, His Back and His presence. Today another definition of G...

BIBLE READING:  2 Chronicles 7:1-2. "1. Now when Solomon had made an end of praying, the fire came down from heaven, and consumed the burnt offering and the sacrifices; and the glory of the LORD filled the house. 2. And the priests could not enter into the house of the LORD, because the glory of the LORD had filled the LORD'S house." Thinking Point: The downpour of the Lord is the Glory of God. May the presence of the Lord that supersedes the presence of man abide with us today and forevermore, Amen. The Glory of the Lord is signified by the downpour of God - the presence of the Lord. Is the atmosphere where men have no control or have nothing to do with what God is doing. When the Lord comes down in His glory we call it His presence. Remember, God is an embodi...

And it shall come to pass, while my glory passeth by, that I will put thee in a clift of the rock, and will cover thee with my hand while I pass by: 23. And I will take away mine hand, and thou shalt see my back parts: but my face shall not be seen." Thinking Point: God is an embodiment of Glory from all sides. This week, new results, new breakthroughs, new progress in all we do in Jesus' Mighty name, Amen. The Glory of God has been our focus for the week. Yesterday we made it known that the Face of God is the highest level of God's Glory. We move to the second level of the Glory of God which is the "Back of God" , yes, you heard...

And he said, Thou canst not see my face: for there shall no man see me, and live. 21. And the LORD said, Behold, there is a place by me, and thou shalt stand upon a rock: 22. And it shall come to pass, while my glory passeth by, that I will put thee in a clift of the rock, and will cover thee with my hand while I pass by: 23. And I will take away mine hand, and thou shalt see my back parts: but my face shall not be seen." Thinking Point: The Glory of God is God's personification. A glorious week to every follower of...

Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: 20. Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen" Thinking Point: The greatest instructions of Jesus Is to teach the nations about Him. Our day is blessed with the blessings of the Lord from above In Jesus Mighty Name, Amen. Today, being our last day on this topic, the greatest instructions of Jesus to all believers is to speak about Him to the nations, to speak of His coming back, bring people to His fold, winn...

But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you. 34. Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof." Thinking Point: Putting God first is the way out of every situation. It's another weekend, every weakness is replaced with God's fresh strength in Jesus' wonderful name, Amen. One of the greatest instructions from God that looks very simple but hard to respond to is our focus today, putting God above every other thing, seeking to please God and His righteous...

And as he entered into a certain village, there met him ten men that were lepers, which stood afar off: 13. And they lifted up their voices, and said, Jesus, Master, have mercy on us. 14. And when he saw them, he said unto them, Go shew yourselves unto the priests. And it came to pass, that, as they went, they were cleansed." Thinking Point: The simplest instructions from God are the most powerful key to deliverance. May the strength and might of God rest upon us for the day, every reason for weariness is cleared off all paths in Jesus Mighty name, Amen. In the world we are today, most believers believed in long prayers from thei...

And Elisha said unto her, What shall I do for thee? tell me, what hast thou in the house? And she said, Thine handmaid hath not any thing in the house, save a pot of oil. 3. Then he said, Go, borrow thee vessels abroad of all thy neighbours, even empty vessels; borrow not a few. 4. And when thou art come in, thou shalt shut the door upon thee and upon thy sons, and shalt pour out into all those vessels, and thou shalt set aside that which is full. 5. So she went from him, and shut the door upon her and upon her sons, who brought the vessels to her; and she poured out" Thinking Point: Total obedience to God's instructio...

TOPIC: OUR RESPONSE TO THE MASTER: I Have No Helper (3) One Year Bible Reading: Jeremiah 9 - 10 1 Timothy 3: 1 - 16 MEMORY VERSE: Habakkuk 2:1. "1. I will stand upon my watch, and set me upon the tower, and will watch to see what he will say unto me, and what I shall answer when I am reproved." BIBLE READING:  John 5:6 " 6. When Jesus saw him lie, and knew that he had been now a long time in that case, he saith unto him, Wilt thou be made whole?" 7. The impotent man answered him, Sir, I have no man, when the water is troubled, to put me into the pool: but while I am coming, another steppeth down before me. 8. Jesus saith unto him, Rise, take up thy bed, and walk. 9. And immediately the man was made whole, and took up his bed, and walked: and on the same day was the sabbath." Thinking Point: All excuses expire when one's time of visiting comes, only act. The Mighty God will come our way today with the needed visitation to change our stories in Je...

I will stand upon my watch, and set me upon the tower, and will watch to see what he will say unto me, and what I shall answer when I am reproved." BIBLE READING:  John 11:39-41. " 39. Jesus said, Take ye away the stone. Martha, the sister of him that was dead, saith unto him, Lord, by this time he stinketh: for he hath been dead four days. 40. Jesus saith unto her, Said I not unto thee, that, if thou wouldest believe, thou shouldest see the glory of God? 41. Then they took away the stone from the place where the dead was laid. And Jesus lifted up his eyes, and said, Father, I thank thee that thou hast heard me." Thinking Point: What is too late for man is timely to God if we act according to His instructions. It's the first working day of the week, our work will work for us and not against and ma...

TOPIC: OUR RESPONSE TO THE MASTER: Have Toiled All Night (1) One Year Bible Reading: Jeremiah 5 - 6 1 Timothy 1: 1 - 20 MEMORY VERSE: Habakkuk 2:1. "1. I will stand upon my watch, and set me upon the tower, and will watch to see what he will say unto me, and what I shall answer when I am reproved." BIBLE READING:  Luke 5:4-5. "4. Now when he had left speaking, he said unto Simon, Launch out into the deep, and let down your nets for a draught. 5. And Simon answering said unto him, Master, we have toiled all the night, and have taken nothing: nevertheless at thy word I will let down the net." Thinking Point: Our response and act to God determine what we receive from Him. I welcome you to a week of possibilities and accomplishment in Jesus name, Amen. This week our force is on our responses and action to God's instructions and decree, both the direct word of God and written word of God. Often God always gives us instructions by guideline or directives b...

Oluboye Emmanuel Ministry Mobile Daily Devotional Week 42, Day 7, Saturday, 18th October, 2025 TOPIC: DAVID'S HEART: What Are We Sowing? (7)

Image
TOPIC: DAVID'S HEART: What Are We Sowing? (7) One Year Bible Reading: Jeremiah 3 - 4 2 Thessalonians 3: 1 - 18 MEMORY VERSE: Psalms 89:20. "20. I have found David my servant; with my holy oil have I anointed him:" BIBLE READING:  2 Samuel 9:7 "7. And David said unto him, Fear not: for I will surely shew thee kindness for Jonathan thy father's sake, and will restore thee all the land of Saul thy father; and thou shalt eat bread at my table continually." Thinking Point: Kindness is a fruit reaped from past seeds sown. May we enjoy the kindness of men this day and forever in Jesus Mighty name, Amen. David searched for who to reward for the sacrifice of Jonathan. He fetched out Mephibosheth from Lodebar and exalted him to sit with the Princes. His kindness towards him changed his position and title. He restored all the fortune of his grandfather to him, elevated him above his peers, why? Because of the sacrifice of Jonathan, his father. How I wish we...

TOPIC: DAVID'S HEART: Fetch Me Out (6) One Year Bible Reading: Jeremiah 1 - 2 2 Thessalonians 2: 1 - 17 MEMORY VERSE: Psalms 89:20. "20. I have found David my servant; with my holy oil have I anointed him:" BIBLE READING:  2 Samuel 9:5. " 5. Then king David sent, and fetched him out of the house of Machir, the son of Ammiel, from Lodebar." Thinking Point: God's kindness is the reason for being fetched out from Lodebar. Thank God it's Friday, may that desire of our heart this week come to pass before the end of today, in Jesus's Mighty name, Amen. Who was Mephibosheth? He was the heir of Saul's family, rejected, neglected and cast out, who lived in a small town called Lodebar. He was hidden from the public, lame and he could fend for himself. Above all, his grandfather's servant didn't care about him because he was very far from where his grandfather's wealth was in Israel. He was nobody like many today, but a day came when...

TOPIC: DAVID'S HEART: Fetch Him Out (5) One Year Bible Reading: Isaiah 63 - 66 2 Thessalonians 1: 1 - 12 MEMORY VERSE: Psalms 89:20. "20. I have found David my servant; with my holy oil have I anointed him:" BIBLE READING:  2 Samuel 9:4-5. "4. And the king said unto him, Where is he? And Ziba said unto the king, Behold, he is in the house of Machir, the son of Ammiel, in Lodebar. 5. Then king David sent, and fetched him out of the house of Machir, the son of Ammiel, from Lodebar." Thinking Point: When it's time to be helped God raises people to fetch them out. May the hand of the Almighty fetch us out from Lodebar today, in Jesus Mighty name, Amen. David's heart was a heart after the things of God. He seeks after what pleases the Lord. He may have many records of sins, acts that make God angry but He has a heart that repents and turns to God faster. When his heart reminded him of the act of Jonathan, he began to search for someone to show kin...

TOPIC: DAVID'S HEART: Why Jonathan and Not Saul? (4) One Year Bible Reading: Isaiah 61 - 62 1 Thessalonians 5: 1 - 28 MEMORY VERSE: Psalms 89:20. "20. I have found David my servant; with my holy oil have I anointed him:" BIBLE READING:  1 Samuel 20:12-13. "12. And Jonathan said unto David, O LORD God of Israel, when I have sounded my father about to morrow any time, or the third day, and, behold, if there be good toward David, and I then send not unto thee, and shew it thee; 13. The LORD do so and much more to Jonathan: but if it please my father to do thee evil, then I will shew it thee, and send thee away, that thou mayest go in peace: and the LORD be with thee, as he hath been with my father." Thinking Point: Fulfilling one's vows to God and men is a sign of the fear of God. May the grace of the Lord manifest in all our dealings today in Jesus' mighty name, Amen. Yesterday, we asked, why David wanted to show kindness to any member of the h...

TOPIC: DAVID'S HEART: Locate Someone To Help (3) One Year Bible Reading: Isaiah 59 - 60 1 Thessalonians 4: 1 - 18 MEMORY VERSE: Psalms 89:20. "20. I have found David my servant; with my holy oil have I anointed him:" BIBLE READING:  2 Samuel 9:3. "3. And the king said, Is there not yet any of the house of Saul, that I may shew the kindness of God unto him? And Ziba said unto the king, Jonathan hath yet a son, which is lame on his feet." Thinking Point: Someone is waiting to be located by you for help. Today, God will locate you for help, promotion and blessings in Jesus' mighty name, Amen. David's search paid off, Ziba was located. He was the chief servant of the late King Saul. The king put out the question again, "Is there not yet any of the house of Saul, that I may shew the kindness of God unto him? And Ziba answered, yes sir. I know a son of Jonathan who is crippled, meaning he is helpless, neglected and abandoned. That was who Davi...

I have found David my servant; with my holy oil have I anointed him:" BIBLE READING:  2 Samuel 9:2. "2. And there was of the house of Saul a servant whose name was Ziba. And when they had called him unto David, the king said unto him, Art thou Ziba? And he said, Thy servant is he." Thinking Point: There's always a way when you're determined to reach your goal. This week, God's angel is leading the way ahead of us in Jesus'Mighty name, Amen. Yesterday, we saw how David's heart prompted him to remember Jonathan, the son of King Saul, who sacrificed his throne for him to be the next king. He longed to fulfil his promises to his old time friend, Jonathan, but it seems impossible because he couldn't get headway. But as a king, he kept digging and searching until he got a lead to an...

And David said, Is there yet any that is left of the house of Saul, that I may shew him kindness for Jonathan's sake? Thinking Point: Remembering the good acts of others and repaying them extends good acts. Welcome to this new week still in the month of Liberty. Whatever area we may be experiencing captivity, God is liberating us totally in Jesus' Precious name, Amen. This week, we are taking a case study on David Heart, what he longs for, what his desires were, what runs through his heart? David isn't a man that loves to please God alone, No, he cares about men, the people he governs. He is a leader that cares about the whereabouts of those around him. No wonder God said of Him in Psalms 78:70, 72, ...

TOPIC: FATHER, LIFT ME UP THIS MONTH: By My Service (7) One Year Bible Reading: Isaiah 52 - 53 Colossians 4: 2 - 18 MEMORY VERSE: Gen 8:5.  "5. And the waters decreased continually until the tenth month: in the tenth [month], on the first [day] of the month, were the tops of the mountains seen." BIBLE READING:  Heb 6:10  "10. For God [is] not unrighteous to forget your work and labour of love, which ye have shewed toward his name, in that ye have ministered to the saints, and do minister." Thinking Point: Serving God lifts one from every form of reproach. I have a specific title I call God, which is 'The Great Rewarder who Rewards accordingly’. Yes, I always say, He has never and will never owe anyone because He continually rewards. You may think He hasn't rewarded you but He is rewarding you but if He is yet to reward you, I'm glad to let you know that the Great Rewarder will reward you sooner or later. He said,  "And, behold, I come q...

And the waters decreased continually until the tenth month: in the tenth [month], on the first [day] of the month, were the tops of the mountains seen.” BIBLE READING:  1 Sam. 16:1. "1. And the LORD said unto Samuel, How long wilt thou mourn for Saul, seeing I have rejected him from reigning over Israel? fill thine horn with oil, and go, I will send thee to Jesse the Bethlehemite: for I have provided me a king among his sons." Thinking Point: Only God identifies our helpers and reminds them about us. The Lord is the lifter of heads. He has diverse ways of lifting His children. We have been studying these for some days and we will study another means of His lifting today. When God is ready to lift His children He can decide to speak to someone to carry out the assignment without our contribution. In the case...

I will instruct thee and teach thee in the way which thou shalt go: I will guide thee with mine eye." Thinking Point: Whatever Miracle God will do it starts from giving instruction. Nothing is as sweet as when God is leading in all affairs of life. When God goes ahead of us, no misleading, error nor waste of time and resources, I see God leading us through in all our endeavours this week and beyond in Jesus Mighty Name, Amen. To be lifted above equals is a product of following God's leading. To be singled out is an advantage of having God as the pathfinder (showing us the way). As long as God is our compass our lifting is sure. David said...

For I the LORD thy God will hold thy right hand, saying unto thee, Fear not; I will help thee." Thinking Point: God is the source of all help, without Him helping no help will be available. When the Lord is about to change someone's story He sends a man/woman, He raised someone to achieve the impossible in their lives. No man is an island without the help of God. I decree this morning, the Help of God will locate you and I, God will help you and I, we will be remembered for lifting this month. When God helps man/woman even their enemies will favour him/her. God will put men around you this month to perfect those dreams, those projec...
