Oluboye Emmanuel Ministry Mobile Daily Devotional Week 36, Day 1, Sunday, 31st August, 2025 TOPIC: Psalms 23. The Shepherd (1)

Image
TOPIC: Psalms 23. The Shepherd (1) One Year Bible Reading: Proverbs 5 - 7 1 Corinthians 15: 1 - 34. MEMORY VERSE: Psalms 23:1. "1. The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want." BIBLE READING: John 10:14 "14. I am the good shepherd, and know my sheep, and am known of mine." Thinking Point: The shepherd is only responsible for the sheep, not the goat. Happy new week and Happy last day of the month of August, all of our blessings will be delivered before the month runs out in Jesus name, Amen. This week our focus is shifting to the shepherd and the sheep. Yes, the connection between the two and how the flow should be. We are all students of the Bible and we are all familiar with Psalms 23. I know we can recite it from verse one to the last verse without a missing word. But God showed me something that I want to share with you this week. The first verse says, "The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want." Many of us read this verse often without asking...

Oluboye Emmanuel Ministry Mobile Daily Devotional Week 35, Day 7, Saturday, 30th August, 2025 TOPIC: Hindrances In Church: Going Empty Handed (7)

Image
TOPIC: Hindrances In Church: Going Empty Handed (7) One Year Bible Reading: Proverbs 3 - 4 1 Corinthians 14 MEMORY VERSE: Psalm 122:1 “1. I was glad when they said to me, “Let us go into the house of the LORD.” BIBLE READING: Deuteronomy 16:16-17 "16. Three times in a year shall all thy males appear before the LORD thy God in the place which he shall choose; in the feast of unleavened bread, and in the feast of weeks, and in the feast of tabernacles: and they shall not appear before the LORD empty: 17. Every man shall give as he is able, according to the blessing of the LORD thy God which he hath given thee." Thinking Point: Going into the presence of God empty handed is a hindrance to receiving from God. May we enjoy harvest and rest from all our labour in Jesus's name, Amen. Beloved, we have come to the end of our focus for this week, which is the hindrance to receiving from God. Our last topic today is "Appearing before God empty handed." It's...

Oluboye Emmanuel Ministry Mobile Daily Devotional Week 35, Day 6, Friday, 29th August, 2025 TOPIC: Hindrances In Church: Pride (6)

Image
TOPIC: Hindrances In Church: Pride (6) One Year Bible Reading: Proverbs 1 - 2 1 Corinthians 13 MEMORY VERSE: Psalm 122:1 “1. I was glad when they said to me, “Let us go into the house of the LORD.” Bible Reading: James 4:6 But he giveth more grace. Wherefore he saith, God resisteth the proud, but giveth grace unto the humble. Thinking Point: Pride is irritating to God. No matter how Holy we are, God resists the proud. Today, may the Lord fill your heart with joy everlasting from His presence in Jesus’Mighty Name, Amen. Still proceeding on the hindrances to receiving from God's presence. Our focus today is what I call Pride, being too proud, full of one’s self even before God. Believers always cross the line between faith and pride, walking in pride and claiming it to be faith. Let's clear this first, every man has an atom of pride, like seeing ourselves above others, but there's a level it becomes irritating, glaring and conspicuous. When you think money should ...

Oluboye Emmanuel Ministry Mobile Daily Devotional Week 35, Day 5, Thursday, 28th August, 2025 TOPIC: Hindrances In Church: Lack of Faith (5)

Image
TOPIC: Hindrances In Church: Lack of Faith (5) One Year Bible Reading: Psalm 146 - 150 1 Corinthians 12. MEMORY VERSE: Psalm 122:1 “1. I was glad when they said to me, “Let us go into the house of the LORD.” BIBLE READING: James 1:6-8. “6. But let him ask in faith, nothing wavering. For he that wavereth is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed. 7. For let not that man think that he shall receive any thing of the Lord. 8. A double minded man is unstable in all his ways.” Thinking Point: Going to God's presence with requests but without faith is an exercise in futility. A blessed morning to you, things shall fall in pleasant places for you in Jesus mighty, Amen. Faith is a critical tool to enjoy God's presence. Without faith, remember, no one can please the Lord, according to Hebrews 11:6, which says, “6. But without faith it is impossible to please him:...” When we appear before God without faith we leave his presence without fruit. Our faith is what...

Oluboye Emmanuel Ministry Mobile Daily Devotional Week 35, Day 4, Wednesday, 27th August, 2025 TOPIC: Hindrances In Church: Distracted Mind (4)

Image
TOPIC: Hindrances In Church: Distracted Mind (4) One Year Bible Reading: Psalm 142 - 145 1 Corinthians 11: 2 - 34. MEMORY VERSE: Psalm 122:1 “1. I was glad when they said to me, “Let us go into the house of the LORD.” BIBLE READING: Colossians 3:2. “2. Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth.” Thinking Point: To receive from God, you need to be present in the Spirit, Soul and Body in God's presence. Our mind while in the presence of God plays an important role in receiving from God. God is not moved by our tears only, not by eye service nor by our presence in church but by the Spirit within us, where our mind is focused. Where is your mind when you are in God's presence, at home, wandering away or with God? What's going on within you during the service? Are you fully in the service or being carried away by your challenges? Your attention is what God needs in the service. God is a spirit and we must connect with Him through our Spirit. Some...

Oluboye Emmanuel Ministry Mobile Daily Devotional Week 35, Day 3, Tuesday, 26th August, 2025 TOPIC: Hindrances In Church: Being A Hearer And A Doer (3)

Image
TOPIC: Hindrances In Church: Being A Hearer And A Doer (3) One Year Bible Reading: Psalm 139 - 141 1 Corinthians 10: 14 - 11. MEMORY VERSE: Psalm 122:1 “1. I was glad when they said to me, “Let us go into the house of the LORD.” BIBLE READING: Eccl. 5:1 “1. Keep your foot [give your mind to what you are doing] when you go [as Jacob to sacred Bethel] to the house of God. For to draw near to hear and obey is better than to give the sacrifice of fools [carelessly, irreverently] too ignorant to know that they are doing evil.” Amplified Thinking Point: There can't be a different result when you hear God's word and don't act accordingly. When we appear before God and have nothing to show for it, it means we are not a doer of God's word. Many Christians have seen church service as a routine not sacred, making it hard for them to receive from God. Many believe in sacrifice rather than doing what the Word of God says. Yes, sacrifice to God is important but knowing an...

Oluboye Emmanuel Ministry Mobile Daily Devotional Week 35, Day 2, Monday, 25th August, 2025 TOPIC: Hindrances In Church: Lack Of Documentation (2)

Image
TOPIC: Hindrances In Church: Lack Of Documentation (2) One Year Bible Reading: Psalm 135 - 138, 1 Corinthians 10: 1 - 13. MEMORY VERSE: Psalm 122:1 “1. I was glad when they said to me, “Let us go into the house of the LORD.” BIBLE READING: Habakkuk 2:2-4. "2. Then the LORD answered me and said: “Write the vision And make it plain on tablets, That he may run who reads it. 3. For the vision is yet for an appointed time; But at the end it will speak, and it will not lie. Though it tarries, wait for it; Because it will surely come, It will not tarry. 4. “Behold the proud, His soul is not upright in him; But the just shall live by his faith." Thinking Point: Lack of documentation is the reason for forgetfulness. This week, our story will change for good in Jesus' name, Amen. There's a saying that, "The faintest pen is sharper than the sharpest brain". When you appear before God without writing material, it simply means you are not prepared for instr...

Oluboye Emmanuel Ministry Mobile Daily Devotional Week 35, Day 1, Sunday, 24th August, 2025 TOPIC: Hindrances In Church: Lateness To Church (1)

Image
TOPIC: Hindrances In Church: Lateness To Church (1) One Year Bible Reading: Psalm 128 - 134, 1 Corinthians 9. MEMORY VERSE: Psalm 122:1 “1. I was glad when they said to me, “Let us go into the house of the LORD.” BIBLE READING: Psalm 63:1-2 “1. O God, You are my God; Early will I seek You; 2. My soul thirsts for You; My flesh longs for You In a dry and thirsty land Where there is no water.” Thinking Point: Lateness to God's presence can hinder one's blessing from God. Welcome to the last week of August, your miracle shall locate you this week in Jesus mighty name, Amen. Last week, we highlighted the benefits of going to church which I believe we are all blessed by the Lord. This week our focus is shifting to reasons why going to church has no effect in our lives despite serving God for so many years. The first reason for not enjoying these blessings in church is "Lateness to God's Presence". When you get to your office late it has an effect on your jo...

Image
Oluboye Emmanuel Ministry  Mobile Daily Devotional  Week 34, Day 7,  Saturday, 23rd August, 2025  TOPIC: Why Going To Church?: Fullness of Joy (7) One Year Bible Reading: Psalm 120 - 127, 1 Corinthians 8. MEMORY VERSE: Psalm 122:1 “1. I was glad when they said to me, “Let us go into the house of the LORD.” BIBLE READING: Psalm 16:11 “11. You will show me the path of life; In Your presence is fullness of joy; At Your right hand are pleasures forevermore.” Thinking Point: Fullness of Joy can only be found in God's Presence. The faithfulness of our Lord has brought us to the end of this week again, we return all glory to God our father, in Jesus name, Amen. We have been studying "Why Going To Church?" this week and today, I want you to know that the source of Joy is the presence of God. Happiness can be found anywhere but fullness of Joy comes from God's presence. No matter what is produced by men to give joy, the joy doesn't last, it's always tempor...

Oluboye Emmanuel Ministry Mobile Daily Devotional Week 34, Day 6, Friday, 22nd August, 2025 TOPIC: Why Going To Church?: To Obtain Grace and Mercy (6)

Image
TOPIC: Why Going To Church?: To Obtain Grace and Mercy (6) One Year Bible Reading: Psalm 119: 113 - 176, 1 Corinthians 7. MEMORY VERSE: Psalm 122:1 “1. I was glad when they said to me, “Let us go into the house of the LORD.” BIBLE READING: Heb. 4:14-16 “14. Seeing then that we have a great High Priest who has passed through the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast our confession. 15. For we do not have a High Priest who cannot sympathize with our weaknesses, but was in all points tempted as we are, yet without sin. 16. Let us therefore come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need.” Thinking Point: Accessing God’s Grace and Mercy comes via His presence. May the grace and the mercy of God be accessible to your life in Jesus name, Amen. The Grace and the Mercy of God is fully available in His court, in Zion, in the temple of God. Remember, the Highest Priest resides in the temple. He is the link between God ...

Oluboye Emmanuel Ministry Mobile Daily Devotional Week 34, Day 5, Thursday, 21st August, 2025 TOPIC: Why Going To Church?: Share Burdens (5)

Image
TOPIC: Why Going To Church?: Share Burdens (5) One Year Bible Reading: Psalm 119: 1 - 112, 1 Corinthians 6. MEMORY VERSE: Psalm 122:1 “1. I was glad when they said to me, “Let us go into the house of the LORD.” BIBLE READING: Acts 4:32, 34-37. "32. And the multitude of them that believed were of one heart and of one soul: neither said any of them that ought of the things which he possessed was his own; but they had all things common. .... 34. Neither was there any among them that lacked: for as many as were possessors of lands or houses sold them, and brought the prices of the things that were sold, 35. And laid them down at the apostles' feet: and distribution was made unto every man according as he had need. 36. And Joses, who by the apostles was surnamed Barnabas, (which is, being interpreted, The son of consolation,) a Levite, and of the country of Cyprus, 37. Having land, sold it, and brought the money, and laid it at the apostles' feet." Thinking Po...

Oluboye Emmanuel Ministry Mobile Daily Devotional Week 34, Day 4, Wednesday, 20th August, 2025 TOPIC: Why Going To Church?: To Serve God (4)

Image
TOPIC: Why Going To Church?: To Serve God (4) One Year Bible Reading: Psalm 116 - 118, 1 Corinthians 5. MEMORY VERSE: Psalm 122:1 “1. I was glad when they said to me, “Let us go into the house of the LORD.” BIBLE READING: Exo. 23:25-27 “25. “So you shall serve the LORD your God, and He will bless your bread and your water. And I will take sickness away from the midst of you. 26. No one shall suffer miscarriage or be barren in your land; I will fulfill the number of your days. 27. “I will send My fear before you, I will cause confusion among all the people to whom you come, and will make all your enemies turn their backs to you.” Thinking Point: Church is a place to render services to God with our talents and gifts. Today, may the fresh dew of heaven rest upon us and we go to our places of work in Jesus name, Amen. The fourth point on "why going to church" is to serve God. Serving God is one of the paramount reasons for being in God's presence. If anyo...

Oluboye Emmanuel Ministry Mobile Daily Devotional Week 34, Day 3, Tuesday, 19th August, 2025 TOPIC: Why Going To Church?: Liberty in God's Presence (3)

Image
TOPIC: Why Going To Church?: Liberty in God's Presence (3) One Year Bible Reading: Psalm 113 - 115, 1 Corinthians 4. MEMORY VERSE: Psalm 122:1 “1. I was glad when they said to me, “Let us go into the house of the LORD.” BIBLE READING: 2 Corinth. 3:16-17 "16. Nevertheless when one turns to the Lord, the veil is taken away. 17 Now the Lord is the Spirit; and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty.” Thinking Point: The Spirit of the Lord connotes the presence of the Lord which attracts liberty. Where God is, the Spirit of God is present. The Spirit of God carries out the mind of God. So therefore, wherever the Spirit of God is present, there is liberty. In the house of God you are set free from every bondage whatsoever. Obadiah 1:17. "17. But upon mount Zion shall be deliverance, ..." Do you need to be free from habits that hold you captives? Like smoking, anger, stealing, drug addiction, sin or any form of addiction that you are not proud of? You...

Oluboye Emmanuel Ministry Mobile Daily Devotional Week 34, Day 2, Monday, 18th August, 2025, TOPIC: Why Going To Church?: Access To Power And Glory (2)

Image
TOPIC: Why Going To Church?: Access To Power And Glory (2) One Year Bible Reading: Psalm 109 - 112, 1 Corinthians 3. MEMORY VERSE: Psalm 122:1 “1. I was glad when they said to me, “Let us go into the house of the LORD.” BIBLE READING: Psalm 68:1-2 “1. O God, You are my God; Early will I seek You; My soul thirsts for You; My flesh longs for You In a dry and thirsty land Where there is no water. 2 So I have looked for You in the sanctuary, To see Your power and Your glory.” Thinking Point: Access to God's power and Glory is in His presence. The Lord bless you, and keep you, make His face shine upon you, and be gracious to you this week in Jesus name, Amen. Another reason to appear before the Lord is access to the Power of God. In the presence of God, the Glory and His power is available. Elijah was a man of Power because He stands before God. His access to God's presence makes Him a man of power who commands authority at will. Do you need access to the real Power of ...

Oluboye Emmanuel Ministry Mobile Daily Devotional Week 34, Day 1, Sunday, 17th August, 2025 TOPIC: Why Going To Church?: To Give Him Thanks (1)

Image
TOPIC: Why Going To Church?: To Give Him Thanks (1) One Year Bible Reading: Psalm 107 - 108, 1 Corinthians 2. MEMORY VERSE: Psalm 122:1 “1. I was glad when they said to me, “Let us go into the house of the LORD.” BIBLE READING: Psalm 100:4-5 “4. Enter into His gates with thanksgiving, And into His courts with praise. Be thankful to Him, and bless His name. 5 For the LORD is good; His mercy is everlasting, And His truth endures to all generations.” Thinking Point: The first reason to be in God's presence is to Thank and Praise Him. A glorious week ahead of you this week, as we appear before Him today, may we be soaked in the glory of His presence in Jesus name, Amen. This week we focus on the reasons for being in Church. Going to church has been seen as a normal routine to many believers since the real reason for service is unknown to them. Many attend church services because it's a family norm and for different purposes, but that's not why we go to church. Let u...

Oluboye Emmanuel Ministry Mobile Daily Devotional Week 33, Day 7, Saturday, 16th August, 2025 TOPIC: A WET WOOD: His Word In Us (7)

Image
TOPIC: A WET WOOD: His Word In Us (7) One Year Bible Reading: Psalm 104 - 106, 1 Corinthians 1. Memory Verse: Prov. 26:20 "20. Where there is no wood, the fire goes out; And where there is no talebearer, strife ceases." Bible Reading: John 15:5-8 "5 “I am the vine, you are the branches. He who abides in Me, and I in him, bears much fruit; for without Me you can do nothing. 6. If anyone does not abide in Me, he is cast out as a branch and is withered; and they gather them and throw them into the fire, and they are burned. 7. If you abide in Me, and My words abide in you, you will ask what you desire, and it shall be done for you. 8. By this My Father is glorified, that you bear much fruit; so you will be My disciples." Thinking Point: Christ words in us sustain both the wet and dry wood for productivity. Apostle Paul said, "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me." Philippians 4:13.  He who abides in Christ Jesus, (who is the v...

Oluboye Emmanuel Ministry Mobile Daily Devotional Week 33, Day 6, Friday, 15th August, 2025 TOPIC: A WET WOOD: DEAD WOOD CAN SPROUT AGAIN (5)

Image
TOPIC: A WET WOOD: DEAD WOOD CAN SPROUT AGAIN (5) One Year Bible Reading: Psalm 102 - 103, Romans 16.  Memory Verse: Prov. 26:20 "20. Where there is no wood, the fire goes out; And where there is no talebearer, strife ceases." Bible Reading: Job 14:7 “7. For there is hope for a tree, If it is cut down, that it will sprout again, And that it's tender shoots will not cease." Thinking Point: No situation is bad in the hands of God, He brings the dead back to life. Our God is Merciful in all His ways. He is "The Alpha and Omega", "The Beginning and End" - Rev. 1:8,11. He decides and Re-decide and None can stand against His decrees, this is who our God is and even more. He forgives and forgets. God does all in His power not to lose any soul to the devil except those condemned to the devil. The Lord will always find means of saving His children, even when we wouldn't listen, He doesn't give up on us easily. When we refuse to listen...

Oluboye Emmanuel Ministry Mobile Daily Devotional Week 33, Day 5, Thursday, 14th August, 2025 TOPIC: A WET WOOD: Dry Wood Can Be Cut Down Too (5)

Image
TOPIC: A WET WOOD: Dry Wood Can Be Cut Down Too (5) One Year Bible Reading:  Psalm 99 - 101, Romans 15: 14 - 33. Memory Verse: Prov. 26:20 "20 Where there is no wood, the fire goes out; And where there is no talebearer, strife ceases." BIBLE READING: Math. 3:8-10. "8. Therefore bear fruits worthy of repentance, 9. and do not think to say to yourselves, ‘We have Abraham as our father.’ For I say to you that God is able to raise up children to Abraham from these stones. 10. And even now the ax is laid to the root of the trees. Therefore every tree which does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire." Thinking Point: A dry wood that's without fruit can be cut down also, be productive as a believer. We have been discussing wet and dry wood. Wet woods are woods which are not useful to God at a particular time, which means, they can still become a dry wood and be available for God's use. Dry woods are those woods available for God, th...

Oluboye Emmanuel Ministry Mobile Daily Devotional Week 33, Day 4, Wednesday, 13th August, 2025 TOPIC: A WET WOOD: Honoured and Dishonour Vessel (4)

Image
TOPIC: A WET WOOD: Honoured and Dishonour Vessel (4) One Year Bible Reading:  Psalm 94 - 98, Romans 15: 5 - 13. Memory Verse: Prov. 26:20 "20 Where there is no wood, the fire goes out; And where there is no talebearer, strife ceases." BIBLE READING: 2 Tim. 2:20. "20 But in a great house there are not only vessels of gold and silver, but also of wood and clay, some for honor and some for dishonor. 21. Therefore if anyone cleanses himself from the latter, he will be a vessel for honor, sanctified and useful for the Master, prepared for every good work." Thinking Point: A dishonour vessel is a wet wood while an honour vessel is a dry wood, which are you? A blessed day ahead of you today in Jesus name, Amen. In this dispensation of the Holy Spirit, we Christians have become so judgemental and being led by eye-service and wealth in our churches. Most times our focus is far from the mind of God. We have turned the word of God which says, "The righteous ...

Oluboye Emmanuel Ministry Mobile Daily Devotional Week 33, Day 3, Tuesday, 12th August, 2025 TOPIC: A WET WOOD: WET WOOD CAN STILL GENERATE FIRE (3)

Image
TOPIC: A WET WOOD: WET WOOD CAN STILL GENERATE FIRE (3) One Year Bible Reading:  Psalm 90 - 93, Romans 14 - 15: 1 - 4. Memory Verse: Prov. 26:20 "20 Where there is no wood, the fire goes out; And where there is no talebearer, strife ceases." BIBLE READING:  2 Chro. 7:14 "14 However, if my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves, pray, search for me, and turn from their evil ways, then I will hear their prayer from heaven, forgive their sins, and heal their country." Thinking Point: A wet wood only needs to be dried in order to be able to ignite fire. A beautiful morning to you all, may the presence of God lead our path today in Jesus name, Amen. It is good to know that wet wood is not a waste, it can still be useful for fire. As a wet wood, which discovered his/her irrelevance, there can still be a way to be useful and become the burning wood for God. The important thing is to realize you are a wet wood and can't generate the requi...

Oluboye Emmanuel Ministry Mobile Daily Devotional Week 33, Day 2, Monday, 11th August, 2025 TOPIC: A WET WOOD: WHO IS A WET WOOD? (2)

Image
TOPIC: A WET WOOD: WHO IS A WET WOOD? (2) One Year Bible Reading:  Psalm 89 - 9, Romans 12: 17 -  Memory Verse:  Prov. 26:20 "20 Where there is no wood, the fire goes out; And where there is no talebearer, strife ceases." Bible Reading: Leviticus 6:12 "12. And the fire on the altar shall be kept burning on it; it shall not be put out. And the priest shall burn wood on it every morning, and lay the burnt offering in order on it; and he shall burn on it the fat of the peace offerings." Thinking Point: A wet wood is a wood that hinders the fire from burning. Happy new working day to everyone, this week is opened with goodness for all needs being met in Jesus name, Amen. Wet wood is rampant within believers in our generation. Christians who are not available for the use of God can be termed a wet wood; someone who finds it difficult to do the things of God, who finds the Gospel irritating. If the word of God is a no go area for you, when you are a thorn i...

Oluboye Emmanuel Ministry Mobile Daily Devotional Week 33, Day 1, Sunday, 10th August, 2025 TOPIC: A WET WOOD: Are You A Wet Or Dry Wood?

Image
TOPIC: A WET WOOD: Are You A Wet Or Dry Wood? One Year Bible Reading:  Psalm 85 - 88, Romans 12: 1 - 16. Memory Verse:  Prov. 26:20 "20 Where there is no wood, the fire goes out; And where there is no talebearer, strife ceases." BIBLE READING:  Levi. 6:12-13 "12. And the fire on the altar shall be kept burning on it; it shall not be put out. And the priest shall burn wood on it every morning, and lay the burnt offering in order on it; and he shall burn on it the fat of the peace offerings. 13 A fire shall always be burning on the altar; it shall never go out."   Thinking Point: For fire to glow and consume effectively, there must be dry wood. I welcome you to this series of "Wet Wood". Wood is the secret to a burning fire. Every fire needs wood and not just any wood but a dry wood in order to produce the needed fire. No matter the numbers of wood, if they are wet, they are useless in creating fire. So, for a fire to be effective, dry wood is...

TOPIC: A NEW BEGINNING: It Starts From God (7) One Year Bible Reading:  Psalm 82 - 84, Romans 11: 13 - 36. MEMORY VERSE: Romans 8:28. "28. And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose." BIBLE READING: Isaiah 43:19 "19. Behold, I will do a new thing; now it shall spring forth; shall ye not know it? I will even make a way in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert." Thinking Point: No new beginning without God's involvement, it all starts from God. Happy weekend, may our coming in today be a season of harvest in Jesus name, amen. The source of everything is God. Every dream, vision, desire, accomplishment can't be possible with God's involvement. When God is not involved, a new beginning will be a fallacy. But it is the intention of God to give us a new beginning no matter our past failure or accomplishments. He is delighted to make our today better than yesterday...

TOPIC: A NEW BEGINNING: Keep Starting Again (6) One Year Bible Reading:  Psalm 79 - 81, Romans 11: 1 - 12. MEMORY VERSE: Romans 8:28. "28. And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose." BIBLE READING: Genesis 26:19-22. "19. And Isaac's servants digged in the valley, and found there a well of springing water. 20. And the herdmen of Gerar did strive with Isaac's herdmen, saying, The water is ours: and he called the name of the well Esek; because they strove with him. 21. And they digged another well, and strove for that also: and he called the name of it Sitnah. 22. And he removed from thence, and digged another well; and for that they strove not: and he called the name of it Rehoboth; and he said, For now the LORD hath made room for us, and we shall be fruitful in the land." Thinking Point: A new beginning is a result of not giving up, keep re-trying, re-fire and non-...

TOPIC: A NEW BEGINNING: New Beginning In Our Homes (5) One Year Bible Reading:  Psalm 78, Romans 9: 30 - 10: 1 - 21. MEMORY VERSE: Romans 8:28. "28. And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose." BIBLE READING: Ephesians 5:21-22, 25   "21 .  Submitting yourselves one to another in the fear of God. 22. Wives, submit yourselves unto your own husbands, as unto the Lord. 25. Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church, and gave himself for it;" Thinking Point: As couples, we can start a new beginning by being selfless, supportive and accepting our weaknesses. It's not news today that divorced homes are increasing daily. The rate of divorce keeps souring high and marriages keep declining living children vulnerable. With my little research, there are various points leading to these separations which are traceable to individuals "looking away" du...
