The blessing of the LORD, it maketh rich, and he addeth no sorrow with it." Thinking Point: God does not deny the serving ones his blessings, riches, wealth and health (without sorrow): Promotion comes with Blessings. As we render our services in our different locations, may our blessings find us in multiple folds in Jesus Mighty Name, Amen. Our God is a loving God that has good plans for everyone who does His Will. He is the God that pays beyond ones wages. He never assigned us without plans of blessing us in return. Everyone who serves Him, either in or out of the church, He blesses in abundance. He makes them enviable to the world. This is why he said, "And ye shall serve the Lord your Go...

"39. And Pharaoh said unto Joseph, Forasmuch wise as thou art:" Thinking Point: Promotion is a product of service, If you don't serve you don't deserve to be promoted. Every hindrances to your promotion, they are crushed out of your way in Jesus Mighty Name, Amen.  He who does not work does not deserve to eat, likewise, those who does not serve does not deserve promotion. Know ye that the LORD he is God: it is he that hath made us, and not we ourselves; we are his people, and the sheep of his pasture. Thinking Point: Our services to people isn't a favour to God But a favour to us. God doesn't need our Help but we do need His help. What The Lord has begun in your life no power will be against it in Jesus Mighty Name, Amen. Beloved, we can't help God neither can we bless God. God doesn't need our help nor assistance. Serving Him in the church and elsewhere isn't a big deal to God. He only did this so we can all be helped. From creation He never needed our help, none of us was called to advice nor instruct Him. He made everything by Himself for Himself to b...

TOPIC: WHAT DISCIPLINE DOES; It Conquers Carnality (7)  MEMORY VERSE:  Hebrews 12:11. "11. For some, when they had heard, did provoke: howbeit not all that came out of Egypt by Moses." Thinking Point: Without Discipline carnality can't be subdued. The Holy Spirit doesn't do all things on our behalf, Discipline has it role to play. Walking and working with God is all about discipline. We can't see nor touch God. We only feel his presences and see His acts. Mind you, all He wanted from us is to deny ourselves of some pleasure and make Him the focus. He is a loving God who is ready to guide us in all we do. But I say unto you, That whosoever looketh on a woman to lust after her hath committed adultery with her already in his heart." Thinking Point: We all have our eyes to see and look but it take discipline not to lust with opposite sex. Father, we look up to you for the strength to Discipline ourselves day in day out as we run our race on earth, in Jesus Name, Amen. It takes discipline to conquer lust for opposite sex. Love can't overcome lust neither can pretence do, only discipline can. This discipline starts from the control of one's eye, t...

And having food and raiment let us be therewith content." "9. But they that will be rich fall into temptation and a snare, and into many foolish and hurtful lusts, which drown men in destruction and perdition." "10. For the love of money is the root of all evil: which while some coveted after, they have erred from the faith, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows." And Esau said to Jacob, Feed me, I pray thee, with that same red pottage; for I am faint: therefore was his name called Edom." "31. And Jacob said, Sell me this day thy birthright." "32. And Esau said, Behold, I am at the point to die: and what profit shall this birthright do to me?" "33. And Jacob said, Swear to me this day; and he sware unto him: and he sold his birthright unto Jacob." "34. TOPIC: WHAT DISCIPLINE DOES; It Conquers Procrastination (3)  MEMORY VERSE:  Hebrews 12:11. "11. Now no chastening (Discipline) for the present seemeth to be joyous, but grievous: nevertheless afterward it yieldeth the peaceable fruit of righteousness unto them which are exercised thereby. BIBLE READING:  Ephesians 5:15-16. "15. See then that ye walk circumspectly, not as fools, but as wise," "16. Redeeming the time, because the days are evil." Thinking Point: Procrastinating is as a result of lack of Discipline. Why postpone what you can do now till sometime else? Indiscipline is as a result of being "too busy". Being too busy is the accumulation of easy tasks that needed to be done with ease but was left undone. When we can't identify what needs to be done now and later, it's indiscipline. Procrastination has cost many, to lose great opportunities in life, lack of response as soon as possible makes many persons lost their positio...

Image
TOPIC: WHAT DISCIPLINE DOES; It Conquers Distraction (2)  BIBLE READING:  Philippians 3:13-14. "13. Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before," "14. I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus." Thinking Point: The strategy the enemy uses is to distract us from God's purpose for our lives, but through Discipline, we can overcome his devices. As we step out this new week, we are endowed with all spiritual benefits to prosper in Jesus Mighty name, Amen. Distraction, is another instrument in the hands of the devil to bring failure of purpose in one's life. Attending to meaningless goals, desires or pleasures that has nothing to do with what God has ordained us for are distraction from God and our life purpose. John the Baptist was carried away by interfering with Herod marrying his brot...

BIBLE READING:  Proverbs 24:33-34. "33. Yet a little sleep, a little slumber, a little folding of the hands to sleep:" "34. So shall thy poverty come as one that travelleth; and thy want as an armed man." Thinking Point: Being laziness is different from being jobless. Laziness is as a result of lack of Discipline why joblessness may be a time of seeking for opportunity. This new week shall answer to us, we shall not lack His help, grace and mercy in Jesus name, Amen. Our focus this week is what I call, the effect of indiscipline. What happens when we are not disciplined; What's the product of indiscipline?  I pray as God will be speaking to us, we shall see where we are ...

TOPIC: UNREQUESTED FAVOUR: By Our Works (7)  MEMORY VERSE:  Jeremiah 29:11. "11. For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end." BIBLE READING:  Revelation 3:8-9. "8. I know thy works: behold, I have set before thee an open door, and no man can shut it: for thou hast a little strength, and hast kept my word, and hast not denied my name." "9. Behold, I will make them of the synagogue of Satan, which say they are Jews, and are not, but do lie; behold, I will make them to come and worship before thy feet, and to know that I have loved thee." Thinking Point: Our works outweigh the reward we envisage if we will do it better. God's reward for services are beyond our imagination, they are Unrequested favour. And he said unto him, Say now unto her, Behold, thou hast been careful for us with all this care; what is to be done for thee? wouldest thou be spoken for to the king, or to the captain of the host? And she answered, I dwell among mine own people." "14. And he said, What then is to be done for her? And Gehazi answered, Verily she hath no child, and her husband is old." "15. And he said, Call her. And when he had called her, she stood in the door." "16. And he said, About this season, according to the time of life, thou shalt embrace a son. And when the Lord saw her, he had compassion on her, and said unto her, Weep not." "14. And he came and touched the bier: and they that bare him stood still. And he said, Young man, I say unto thee, Arise." Thinking Point: All Hope might fade, Help from men may not be forthcoming, but God's Compassion can never fail, it activates Unrequested Favour. And a certain man lame from his mother's womb was carried, whom they laid daily at the gate of the temple which is called Beautiful, to ask alms of them that entered into the temple;" "3. Who seeing Peter and John about to go into the temple asked an alms." "4. And Peter, fastening his eyes upon him with John, said, Look on us." "5. And he gave heed unto them, expecting to receive something of them." "6. Then Peter said, Silver and gold have I none; but such as I have give I thee: In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth rise up and walk." Jesus saith unto him, Rise, take up thy bed, and walk." Thinking Point: Consistently maintaining your position is an invite to receiving unrequested favour from God. Thinking Point: There are seasons we enjoy favour we never prayed nor ask for, that season is called Unrequested Favour season. That season shall be real in our lives this month. And Mahlon and Chilion died also both of them; and the woman was left of her two sons and her husband." Thinking Point: When there's life, there is hope for a new beginning. (NLT) Thinking Point: Mockery shouldn't be the reason you will give up on God, let it propel you to take new measure against the situation. Every mockery in our lives will receive the attention of God in Jesus Mighty Name, Amen. Being mocked isn't an easy situation.
